I didn't know there is a difference in the manual verses auto cranks in a 273. Are you sure you just don't knock out the pilot bushing and use the crank in an auto? here is a link for after market cranks for 273 applications...

I might have one also. I picked up a shroud for my 318 a couple years ago and never used it because I am running a be cool radiator. It is offset but I don't know what it is for. Do you have a number or dimensions? I would be willing to let you have it for shipping costs if it will work for you...

I got mine for my 63 dart from jcwhitney. I just matched my old one to the specs they give for their universal fit seals. perfect fit and even got the chrome strip from them too.

Here is a pic of mine in my 63 dart. Hurst promatic 2. almost two years and no issues, Not even a cable adjustment. It is also the ratchet type shifter that you can slap into gears. Like the others said though "cable routing is the key" Almost forgot, I did have to relocate the heater controls...

SG, I have several extra adjusters and a few spare shafts. Are you running the bannana groove or hardened shafts? I have a few 318 shafts and would send you one to pull out the plug if they are the same. Just the cost of shipping would do the trick.

schumacher is one of them. That's what I'm running. I know from previous posts there are other companies making them. I can't remember the names.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you need the v8 member? Why not just use the motor mounts for the swap?
