Thats about the going rate for those manifolds. Try searching for the ‘69-only 440 A body M code exhaust manifolds. That’ll give you a shock.

You could angle-mill the exhaust to head flanges of that C body manifold to gain clearance past obstacles on the drivers side.

By the way, those aren't just on "HiPo" engines...they're on 2 barrel engines as well as Slant 6's.

Had the muffler shop fab mine...was about $150, I think.

Like has been said and shown, they are sometimes on the inside face...you have to remove them to see, unless you can slip a mirror in there to read them....

You pretty much have to remove the headpipe and look.

You can also angle-mill the manifold face to get the outlet a bit farther from the steering column.

Challengers (E-Body) have the same engine bay as B-Body. Torsion bars, etc are in different locations in A body than B/E bodies. Not sure the A headers will fit, but I could be wrong!

Grant...thats got to be a typo.....they can't be the same....Chally engine bay (same as B-body) is way wider than A-body. They must be specing A-Body headers for use in B/E body cars.

I thought some '67 Barracudas got the chrome tips, some didn't...but no '67 Darts have the tips...even the '67 GTS had dual turndowns at the rear.

Mike...exhaust shop here in my city wanted $900 for a stock-size, dual system w/Turbo's...not bloody likely. I ordered a system from Kepich...1 small problem with the headpipes, easily cured , and only $249 shipped.

I have to agree w/ 67Dart273...if you want the "V8 Sound", you'll have to install a V8!...preferrably with a good dual exhaust system.

www.kepichexhaust.com makes manifold-back systems. Have one on my Dart...sounds good...fit well...and includes mufflers...around $280

There's probably so much room in that engine bay that practically any manifolds' gonna fit. An original set probably had center dumps, both sides.

I'm not sure they'll fit...your engine bay is narrower than '67 up. I think you need the specific '66-down "Early-A" LA manifolds...especially drivers' side...

2863553 = '68-71 340 A body 2863543= Don't have that one...do have 2863549 ..could it be that? If so, that ones '68-71 340 A body as well, so they are gennie's.

Also check out "Kepich Exhaust"...other than a small problem With the headpipes, it's a good system.

Ok , then...I guess you're waiting (patiently?)...be prepared to pay a good buck...340 mani's, in good shape, ain't cheap...especially the '68/'69 versions. Good luck!
