The cylinder thing is the condenser. After reading this, I'm REALLY glad I just bought a NOS voltage limiter and condenser from one of our fine members. I think that is what is possibly wrong with my lighting situation.

FAT-245 is correct on that. I used to do that with my old drag car. I would just have a toggle switch for my battery shut off.

STARTER RELAY IS STUCK!!!!!! I had the same problem not too long ago. It's either just stuck or you hooked it up backwards. I would try that. Mine was stuck on. I chucked it and installed a new one. Problem gone.

I did the wrench thing before. Scared the crap out of me. I've never hooked up a battery backwards before though. That sucks. It seems like it would be easy to do. Good luck to ya, hopefully you didn't fry too many things under there.
