Do not weld the two holes in the passenger floor pan. Thats where the clips that holds the fuel line is mounted.

Yes you can. If you search my threas 1965 Dodge Dart Charger. I had a NOS steering wheel from a Chrysler boat and they had just a black cenre emblem. I switched to a NOS dart emblem instead and it looks factory installed.

Hamn i Senja is probably one of the nicest place I ever been too. I was there a couple of years ago and the Atlantic ocean was like a mirror! Re the paint I used the same paint all over the instrument panel. Then I masked off the upper area and painted it with flat clear coat. Turned out great.

I think it's a great idea to trade straight up. There might be a FABO member that is in a big need of a red one and has a black to trade with. I have a black one and the red one would fit lile a glove in my wagon. But it's not factory correct....
