From my knowledge I would say white. On earlier models (1965) I have three upper radiator hoses. They have white, yellow and silver stampings!!

Jerry! I have a 4 groove pullet but it's for a bigblock I found out. But I found a 3 groove crank pulley for a 273 w/dealer installed A/C. Can it fit with your compressor?

On my 65 Dart 270 wagon with 273x2 bbl and my 65 Dartcharger convertible with 274x4 bbl they both have 4 belts. One for the power steering pump, one for the fan/waterpump and two belts for the compressor/alternator.

Buy a new switch on Ebay.

That's a non-factory unit. All factory A/C units only has air outlets under the dash. The three of them are chromed and is approx 1 1/2" high. The control unit is above the radio. However a unit placed in the trunk is the first time ever I see it! Cool!

True! First groove is for the water pump. Second groove for the power steering. Third and fourth groove are for air condition. In the picture the power steering pump is wrong. On my 1965 270 wagon assembled June 25th 1965 the air condition compressor have two grooves on the clutch.

Get the factory radiator to a shop that can fix it.

I checked on my Dart wagon w/273 and A/C and it has the same setup as Picture number 2. Same on the convertible. If you like John I can shot picture for you.

John! I have. 65 air conditioning book. I guess I could send it to you to use when assembling the a/c. I can shot some pictures from my convertible which has a factory a/c setup.

It need to be a date, rad end and partnumber stamped hose for a reference restoration.

I do not want to hijack this thread but I'm enjoying reading about your knowledge. I'm looking for the upper radiator hose for a 65 Dart with V8. I think the partnumber is 2465001.Do you know of any good sourches?

Someone on ebay has one for usd 225. Search mopar radiator hose. Good luck!

I would say that the compressor is an dealer kit compressor. First and second picture is showing that style. It also has just one belt. The factory one had two belt and the bracket for the alternator was casted. The alternator also had two belt pulley as shown in third picture.
