    Snorkel Scoop color ?

Sorry but I think you have the answer: No scoop! It just wasn't to the question you asked. If you must, get a flat hood to mount the scoop on and paint the whole thing flat black. Set your original power bulge hood safely in the corner of your garage. That way it will be ready to put back...

Has anyone had a car shipped from CA to the East coast

Seems that there are a few good shippers to choose from. I used DAS about 8 years ago. they were very easy to deal with and it was $650. That was for a running car dropped off at their facility in CA to NJ, dropped off at my house. At the time you could save about 150 or so on either end if you...

Mirrors on a 68 Cuda? What do you like?

Sorry but I'm not a fan of sport mirrors on 60's cars at all. I intended to vote for original but accidentally voted for sport mirrors.

Fender Tag Advice If You Please...

Buy the way... Congrats on finding a cool rare car. I also have an original 68 340, 4 speed Notch. I've only seen two others in person. Both green cars, one in Canada and the other from NJ and now in Northern California. Maybe you can get it together enough for a trip to Carlisle this summer.

Fender Tag Advice If You Please...

I would expect it to be pretty difficult to find a fender tag for any 68 340 4sp Notch considering only 351 were built. Curious to hear if you can locate the build sheet. It's usually under the back seat or I've heard of people finding them in the headliner.

    Before/After Pics Thread

The "after" is after I sold. It's a real 440+6, 4 speed, Dana 4:10 car. The next owner did a beautiful restoration. I think the car is still in North Jersey but I lost contact with the owner.

    Why?!?! I hate this!!!

Like it. A lot! Not loving the paint but wouldn't go through the effort to change it. A set of steel white wagon wheels might actually help bring it all together. I'd like to do that to a Volare wagon. A wood grain sided Volare wagon!

    1969 BB 4-speed Barracuda Formula S

Wow that cleaned up nicely! Nice find! There are not too many factory high performance Notches out there and even less if you consider the 4 speed. Its sure looks pretty presentable as is. What are you going to do? Maybe get it running with any big block? My buddy just used the TTI headers...

    Chryslers at Carlisle 2012 pictures

Good to know. I never realized that. The whole event always seems to go by so fast. Maybe next year we'll add a day on to the front of the trip.

    Chryslers at Carlisle 2012 pictures

Thanks for sharing. It looks as if a bunch of the pictures were taken somewhere other than the fair grounds. Where was that? Was that some sort of evening cruise event?

    I hope someone buys this

There was a display of Mod-tops at Carlisle this weekend. I thought this was the same car as listed some years back on Ebay so I just came back to check the old thread. Unbelievably, its a different green, 340 Mod-top found abandoned! How many could they even have made? I am such a sucker for...

    Lost/ Missed/ Gone

Regretted selling my 69 340 Barracuda and really should have held on to the 70 Charger, 440+6, 4speed, 410 Dana. The Charger needed some work to be road worthy but both were low mileage original paint cars. That's a before and after the next owner restored the Charger. I keep posting pictures of...

    68 Barracuda. 383 or Hemi?

Have you considered a 496 stroker kit for the 383? It would fit in the car better than the Hemi, make tons of torque, and considering it is such a rare car, it could retain somewhat of a stock appearance.

    73 340 duster

Sounds like a nice car to me. My opinion is, since there is nothing especially cheap about a musclecar project, if you like the car, the extra thou here and there will not mean all that much by the time you get it done. Maybe its a plus to you that you get the car from a friend and that will...

Here are my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd car. All Roadrunners. The second (red one) had a built up 440 and 4 speed. It was my daily driver for the better part of 10 years throughout the 80's. The Charger was an original low mileage 440+6, 4 speed, Dana 410. I never got it running but sold it to a collector...

Nice 2nd gen Barracudas guys. There are quite a few that I haven't seen before in the other picture threads. This is one that I checked out a few years back. It was for sale close to me in North Jersey. It was a super low mileage original paint 340 Formula S car. The story I was told is that...
