Jegs wheels. At the time I built the car, they were the only wheels that would work with Wilwood disc brakes and the back spacing I needed. They are a very nice wheel.

Thanks! This is how S/S springs work on my Scamp with no traction bars. Now my truck is completely different with stock springs and traction bars, but works the same.

Traction bars worked for me on my 76 D100. Running stock springs it was terrible off the line. Made a set of traction bars and what a difference. Comes off the line nice a straight, 60 ft are 1.52 at 11.30 so far. Motor is pushing 625HP. So I would say traction bars work, not just for looks...

My son And I rebuilt a 66 Charger he had. Just sold it last year. This is my son and I racing each other. Yes he did win, his car was running 10.90s.

How about fog lights. I ran them in the 80s on my 73 Charger.

I think they are a great car to modify. I know someone that races one with a 340 and it runs down in the low 11's. Pretty neat to see him beat some of the 2 door GM's.

Its the right hobby for me. I enjoy building my owns cars my way. I like to see how I can modify them to look good but different then everyone else. Plus to go and fun with them. I really enjoy taking them to track and someone always said your crazy for racing this car.

Check the torsion bar cross member to make sure its not cracked or rust repairs. If you like the car than buy it. Doesn't matter if its a collectable or high value car. I built my Scamp years ago when not to many people wanted an old cheap family car.

I really like my 79 Chrysler 300. For the year its a great running car with the E-58 360 with factory dual exhaust.

To me they are a great car to built into a nice street machine, there are a lot of ways to build these cars to what you want. From stock to pro-street. You can still find parts for spoilers, ect. at a cost, but they are out there. I have put a quarter panel on one for a guy and was easier than...

Wildwood brakes will take about 35 pounds off the front. Yes they are not cheap, but the weight saving is there for lighting the front end.

Look for me at Keystone. Plan on running Saturdays test and tune in October.

My son has the complete Hotchkis suspension on his 72 Scamp. It sits close to that with the stock mounts.

Make a mounting bracket for the pedal. Make it the same shape as the floor and fire wall out of flat steel about 1/8 " thick. Weld to the floor under the pedal area. That should help.

If they fit good, that would be great. I have of time in my glass fenders just to make them fit like a steel fender.
