This is my bucket. 383 727 9 inch. Rear spring are super stock 3200 pounds. Tires are 255 60 15 on cop wheels also have dropped front hangers. Still a little high for my taste..

The blue 69 valiant is a guy I met at the drag strip.. was just for visual..

Pretty sure both sides are the same bolt pattern. Didn't want to flip old mount and redrill mounting holes on body...

Here is the item# 222268314760 for the ones i bought off of E-bay... ad says lowers 1 inch....take a look.. price is like 71 bucks shipped...

I used these from Rick Ehrenberg.. Got them off e-bay..Lowered mine an inch or so...

I did mine on a lift and torqued them in the air. Once home I redid the rear ones on the ground...Settling maybe a little but I have SS springs and front lowering hangers...

Yup sanded the edge down alittle and tapped them in...Use the grease also they will squeak.

Maybe 3/8's not positive.

Put a deep socket on it with a long extension and work it back and forth it will snap off...

yup I had them in my 68 chevelle never fill them up all the way.Didn't really want to be driving down hill all the time...

I also have this clunk every once in awhile. Thought it was springs.Will check front spring mount. Shocks are new. Sorry for the hijack. Thanks for the info..
