    What oil filter?For a 360 in a 66 Dart

    NAPA and CarQuest filters are Wix; if it says "Affinia" or anything about Gastonia, NC it is a Wix. Affinia bought Wix from the Dana Corp a few years back. Wix is the best IMHO- 51515 should fit w/a 90 degree adapter

    360 questions

    Just picked up a set of '308' heads off of an '89 B250 custom van in the Pull-A-Part for $70.08 out the door. The van had 108K on the odo, dude hit the fiberglass top against something and shaved it off pretty good. The rest of the 360 motor would have cost another $125 +tax and is a roller cam...

    LA318 Question: Starter motor

    If you have a 'Pull-A-Part' near you, go get an '89-'02 starter from any 318/360...but make sure it has the heat shields still bolted to it. Mopar doesn't offer them anymore and it'll help the starter live a lot longer

    360 build or 340???

    If I didn't get a 340 SB for free a few years ago, I would be putting a 360 combo in the Valiant. It's cheaper to buy, easier to find, and was designed as a torque motor from the get-go. I'm not part of the "Numbers matching" fanatics, but the block is from '69 as is my Valiant. Should piss off...

    273 Head Swap...Help

    Decent rate for head machine work?

    Mope- not shabby at all. The 308's for my 340 were $350 in a friend's shop in Seattle. It would have been $300, but the valve seals are more expensive than the 302's.

    2843875 head casting# on 318 head

    '302s' came into production around late-'85; RWD 5th Ave's are a great source for these as well as the oil filter adapters that swing the filter down and back. Why spend money that you can save while recycling all at the same time?

    Great carb...just don't let somebody who doesn't know 'em 'adjust' them. Got one for my Valiant's 340 in the shed waiting to go into service
