I bought a 70 Dart out of Virginia some years back and the title to the car was not in the persons name that I actually got the car from. The title was signed and dated so when I took it to the DMV in Illinois I did not have any problems.
Nice looking bunch of cars. If your buddy is doing the full power tour maybe I will meet up with him in Crown Point, Indiana. Thats one of the stopping points along the way. I used to live in Newport News, Virginia 10 years ago. (Military)...
the paint job I could handle. its the bug catcher coming out of the hood and the tail stripe I don't care for. maybe a different style of rim and lower it some then I think it would be really cool.
Nice pictures. Brings back memeories of when I used to live in Newport News and I was a member of the Tidewater Mopar club when we did our own mini power tour and they did a photo shoot on the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg in front of I think it is the Govenors mansion. Really nice Dart...
Looks like it turned out to be a beautiful day. Couldn't ask for a better day and with all those wonderful folks and Mopars to boot. Wish I could of been there but for some reason work got in the way. Maybe you could invite all those Mopar folks to the River Valley Mopar Club car show on...
I guess I better stay away from Walmart and the spray paint aisle. I painted my engine bay black for two reasons. The first one is I don't know to paint and the second one is I didn't have enough money at the time.
Hey John,
Good to see your car again. Been by your place a couple
of times but no sign of life so I didn't actually stop. I'm very
slowly making progress with my motor. Would like to have it
running by September. Tell Randy I said hello...
I got the Duster home today but no pics just yet
bad weather here. No fender tag to find out any info.
Any info through the vin number that I can find out?
Once I get it to the house here I'll see if in fact is a
numbers matching car with all the help from everyone
at FABO. Should hopefully be getting it on Saturday.
Maybe I'll just post some pictures of it after I get it and
see what people think of it. I really don't need the car itself
I just want some of the parts that are on it for 70 Dart Project.
Frame rails appear to be in good condition
and the color is a faded burgandy as far as
the inner fender wells don't know about them.
If I purchase this car I'll be just using it for parts
71 Duster non-running been just sitting
340/automatic/8.75 gears unknown
340 rebuilt back in 99 but never ran
bucket seats with auto console
ralley dash, power disk brakes,
manual steering, non-a/c, ralley rims.
Asking price is...
Any of you guys a member of the Tidewater Mopar Club?
I used to be when I lived in Newport News. I lived there for
almost 20 years while I was in the Navy. Moved to Illinois
2004. Bought my most recent project 70 Dart out of Poquosen.
I to suffer from the same addiction.
I already have a 70 Dart. And now I'm
looking at a 71 Duster for a parts car.
Its got a lot of good stuff on it I could use
