I used propane torch and putty knife to remove most undercoating. For remnants heat area and use a handheld (not too stiff) wire brush, it removes it dry like powder and leaves a super clean surface.

They should not go in that hard I would be a little leary of using the large force of a press, it should not really be required.

I have removed my rusted front clip and have the torsion bar nuts removed along with the c clips and have removed the tension adjusting bolts but the bars don't want to seem to move any suggestions on the removal. Also does anybody make the socket that the bars fit into. I am referring to the...

My K member is good it is the crossmember that ties the rear of the front frame rails together under the front floor pans.

It is rusted very badly. Way beyond repair. The amount of salt used here on the east coast of canada eats up cars pretty bad.

It mau not cost that much, depends a lot on the shop. 140.00 for the rims man you couldn't beat that with a stick, way cheaper than rallyes a decent set will run atleast 400 to 500, good steal!

Here is where the rear torque box is located. The torque box is positioined so the hole allows access to the nuts on the spring hanger. Hope these have helped you somewhat.
