    SS leaf springs de-arched

That sits real nice. Now I would cut half of the LCA bump stops off and lower it about 3/4" in the front!

    SS leaf springs de-arched

Have you considered flipping the front spring hangers? Here's how mine turned out with the 002, 003 springs

    Torsion Bar Selection

What shape are your front shocks in? I'm running 340 bars in my 71 dart with KYB shocks and a 383 sitting on top of it and it handles every bit as good as it did when the slant was in there. Oh, I added a 1 1/8" sway bar too Here's a link for you too...

440 with slant 6 torsion bars

Im running a 383 with headers, alum intake and and no a/c with the 340 bars. Like 72 said its not that hard to get a big block to weigh what a fully optioned small block does using some aluminum. I think my 71 handles great with those bars but I've also got KYB's up front and a 1 1/8" sway bar.

    Clunking noise passenger side

Hve you checked your motor mounts? If they're loose/worn out you'll hear a clunking noise when you take off in drive or reverse.

    put the 8-3/4 in

I think the 7.25 studs are smaller than the 8.75's. 7/16 vs 1/2 inch??? Its been a while so hopefully someone can confirm this for ya.

    Can you identify these brackets?

those look like a set that came off a 440 I bought that was out of a 74 pick up. I dont know what the engine came out of though. I tried them on my BB dart and it put the pump right next to the battery tray

    Mancini xhd leaf spring question

I think as far as Mopar part numbers go the even part numbers go on the drivers side and the odd numbers go on the pass side (leafs, torsion bars, etc) Hopefully someone will chime in and verify that I dont have it backwards!

    transdapt good brand?

Yup. I measured from the corner of the mount about 1" each direction, scribed a line and wacked it off and had plenty of oil pump clearance.

    '69 cuda suspension

I went with PST poly bushings up front and added 340 torsion bars (.870) and an Addco 1 1/8 sway bar. Cut my bump stops on the LCA in half and the car is pretty low. I went with SS springs on the rear with Poly bushings again and flipped the front hangers. KYB shocks on the front and some...

    transdapt good brand?

Yup, the mounts are not the spool type. The only difference I can see is the corner cut off is already done on the Schumachers for the oil pump clearance and I had to do it myself on the TD ones. It took about 5 minutes with a grinder and cut off wheel. I've never used wheel adapters- I...

    transdapt good brand?

I'm using their conversion engine mounts vs the Schumachers due to the $90 price difference and they work great so far.

    ball joint socket

I bought one for the large ball joint from Mancini Racing but they have both sizes. LBJ nuts are a lot smaller and I would guess you have the right size in your tool box for those- 2 on the back side pointing toward the oil pan.

    Power Steering

I've got power steering on my 71 dart and it fits fine. I ordered the PS pump brackets from 440 source for 30 some bucks and its a bolt in. Make sure you get the right crank pulley though. You'll need the one with 2 grooves if you're not running ac and the grooves have no gap b/w them. I ave...

    front disk

Oh. I thought you meant they would hit the caliper. I think that 70 series tire is giving you problems. I run 225-60-15's on mine and they fit fine but its close

    Improper balljoint install?

Yeah they can be a real bastard. I had to use a BIG pipe wrench to get the old ones out! NOT FUN!

    front disk

I put a set of disks from a 73 dart (single piston) and I run 15" cop car rims too and dont have any clearance problems... What disk setup do you have?

    Sway bar need?????

I put the addco 1.125 inch sway bar on my dart and it made a hell of a difference in handling. I'd put one on anything if I could- I dont like body roll!

What type of torsion bar do I have?

Do you have a set of calipers so you can measure the diameter of the bars. And when you say they are orange, are they solid orange or do they have orange paint dobs on them?

    Rear springs. Sitting too high!

My SS springs didnt sit near that high but I flipped the front hangers anyway.

    Rear leaf hanger ??

It only takes about 10 minutes to elongate one hole on each side to get the hanger to bolt up.

    rearend help

As stated above, you will need 3 inch U Bolts if you are removing a 7.25. You will also need to shorted the driveshaft- not sure how much until you tell us what rear you are removing. I found a chart somewhere (moparts?) that tells you the different measurements. You may also get into brake...

Front suspension questions - big vs small bolt pattern

Sounds like you should get a factory service manual. Chilton, Haynes etc. Your local auto parts store should have them.
