    Borgeson Steering Box

I understand how the core works but being in Canada with $50 plus on shipping and whatever I score an old power chuck for almost makes it a wash I have manual steering so I need the hoses and the adapter I see usually goes power to manual. I always hated the stock style couplers when headers...

Adjustable pinion snubber, are some better then others??

I had the american muscle one, was way to tall for my duster, screwed all the way down I had an inch or so of clearance and would hit the floor over bumps. It eventully tore the rubber off the end ended up jsut useing the factory one.

    Opinions on FirmFeel???

I went with a stage 2 in my Duster when converting from manual steering -I'm on of THOSE people- The power steering has already saved me in one accident, I'm with everyone though and would recomend the stage 3 as the 2 is way better then a stock one but I was still looking for more.

    Manual to power box options

Check out www.firmfeel.com Don't waste time with an over assisted factory style box, I have their stage 2 box and its great, if I had to do it again maybe a stage 3 plus it's all in stock and they can answer any questions. Power steering shafts are easy to find most guys want the manual...

    Federal Pump

Cleaned and re-tested with no go, Dick at Firm Feel mentioned trying a 1/16" hole above the rubber if I still have issues. Wish I could find one Laysons doesn't even list them anymore.

    Federal Pump

Recently my NAPA reman federal pump started leaking from the reservoir seal but only when it runs. When I take the cap off it has pressure built up. Before I replace the pump I want to try a new cap, its stamped vented but I can't see a vent on it. Can you buy these caps anywhere? Or...

To snub or not to snub

I had that threaded adjustable one which is made by american muscle. On my street car being 1" from the floor with a passanger in the car and bumps its actully tore the rubber cast right off the end. I still have it but can't get a new end for it but I couldn't get it to sit lower then 1"...

    Loose Nut Behind the Wheel

Seriously there is! I changed over to power steering and the shaft came from a 73- 74 I think. The nut to retain the steering wheel on my 71 wont fit its slightly to small. It looks like 3/4 fine thread but the newer shaft is a touch bigger. I wouldn't think it was metric though is it?

    PS Pump pressure build up?

The cap on my federal power steering pump says vented but I notice afer running when pulling the cap off it makes a quick little hiss from pressure. is this normal or is the cap plugged? If so does anyone sell them?

    Firm Feel Box

I don't really want to bother with re-building mine and I dont think theres much point in the quick ratio pitman arm as the box is getting worn out -she is pushing 36yrs- I think its a 71' box still anyways. It's manual steering so I hate the number of turns it takes to manouver the car but...

Anyone have a pic on how unlevel the car sits? And I'd like to see a pic of the mancino springs for height too. The dolalr is high enough and their springs are cheap but I gotta figure which I want. Dont want to put the *** too high up or have it really unlev el and ahve to explain my...

    SS Springs

Only problem I have with the mancini springs is I'm in Canada and the shipping is probably worth more then the springs. I doubt they have any Canadian distributors?

    SS Springs

The original springs in the rear of the Duster are looking a little tired and starting to hang low -strange how gravity effects so much with time- I heard about Mopar's SS springs bu not sure what their claim to fame is and if there ment for a street car. Or if somereplacement s prings...
