Need part # for speedo cable 72 Dart with a-500 od tranny most listings are the 3027 but it has 5\8 on tranny end I need 7\8 Can't remember where I got the last one but it got onto the exhaust and melted it

I have the 42rh in 72 dart and driveline goes down don't know what is different in yours what car are u working on?

Yes rubber and headers don't mix well use metal you can buy new lines from inline tube little tricky to put on but a little workin and they will work

My 42rh does the same thing rebuilt

I ordered replacement lines from them for 904 in my 72 Dart they matched right up to the a-500

I think the front yoke should be 3/4 of an inch out of tranny then measure u joints from center to center Yours does look like its too far out

Just got my 360 runnin only to see the same thing not as bad but it's goin to tranny shop

Are the shift levers the same 904-727? I'm going back to column shift and don't know if the lever I have came off my car, it was with some other linkage I have but don't know what that linkage came off of. Mine is an a-500 trans. I'm thinkin the lever I have came from the van I got the 360 out of.

Pin throttle wide open pull cable at carb as far as it will go then lock it down

Check with PATC they have a box of used along with new ones think they're on ebay also

I think the axle splines are different, I would swap complete rear end if it's a suregrip take measurements make sure it's not too wide you will have to mount new spring perches

Didn't race as I hav a peg leg 8 1/4 the 360 will light that single tire when shifting 1st to 2nd it was breakin loose on the on ramp and hadn't reached 3000 really need a suregrip wanted to run her up but traffic was too heavy here's a pic of the Dart

Went to SA Raceway last sat had to get on IH 10 the onramp was about 300 ft really short punched the 360 at 50 mph and was at 85 by the time I hit the inside lane in 3rd gear all the way!! Lovin this 360 more n more with every drive.

I have an a-500 in my Dart, it sat for almost 6 yrs after rebuild, it shifts early as in 3rd gear by 20 mph it also won't kick down at any speed I removed oem linkage and installed lokar cable no change also the lever on trans is at halfway with throttle closed will only go back if pushed is the...

Are you sure it's a dana alot of jeep (cherokees) came with 8 1/4.

The 8 1/4 is misleading it's round not oval as in the pic

Don't know if they will drop right in havn't taken any measurements you don't want a dakota they are 6 lug

If your going to swap the rear complete jeep grand Cherokee I think 96-98 had 81/4 usually with suregrip and disc brakes may have to move the spring perch pik n pul sells complete rear for under $150
