    In my youth I had the ones like you pictured.Lost the pin on one of them....Stuck a screw driver in it and used them for years before I could afford the good ones. Never had a problem...was I lucky? ...Probably.

    So far I've used mine to shoot the epoxy primer on my Dart.It worked flawlessly for that and it's been 20 years since I shot anything at all.

    I just shot some epoxy primer with a cheap Harbor Freight gun.Worked flawlessly. I hadn't shot anything in over 20 years and it worked great.

    What are you planning for the fall / winter?

    I have a one car garage I use as a part time shop also.I need to build some shelves above head banging height to put all the stuff I have pulled off the Dart right now.Tired of falling all over car parts and afraid I'm going to bend up all the stainless trim laying around.Then get busy on the car.

    I used Rustoleum on my shop in Colorado and my garage here in Arizona.It has held up well.I put to many of the flakes down here and it is harder to sweep and keep clean.Next time I'll probably not put any down.With the Rustoleum you have to be careful...the BASEMENT floor paint looks just like...
