I had a 64 Valiant wagon with zero options. 170/3 speed on the column, no radio, rubber floor mat, no rear arm rests and no rear seat belts. The trim between the upper door and door panel was painted. It did have a cigarette lighter.

My buddy came up with the best name for my engine. Fauxmando 273. It’s actually a 318 2 barrel. I had the parts and wanted to dress it up a bit.

It had a complete color change. What else was added at that time? No fender tag or build sheet.

I bought one from Keith Black in about 1995. Sold it to a friend and it “disappeared”.

I'd be a little suspect of the work done. Looks like they didn't replace all of the rust under the car. Where else did they not do a complete job?

I was at the Oak Harbor, WA Mopar show today and saw my favorite 67 Valiant again. The gentleman that had it there is the original owner who special ordered it while he was working at Chrysler. It’s been nicely restored to original and he still drives it.

@72bluNblu what kind of grease do you use? Are there any problems using a petroleum based grease with urethane or delrin?
