I picked up a rebuild kit from detroit muscle technologies for my 72 scamp heater/ac box. The instructions were pretty good, making the resto straight forward, but time consuming. I also replaced the heater core while I was in there and had it apart. I highly recommend restoring your heater box...

Oh I forgot to mention that I got the paint from Painters Supply. I just brought in a sheet with all the interior paint codes and exterior ones as well. The paint is laquer based and dries really fast. I bought a 1/2 pint which fit into two rattle cans. thanks dartsport74 and everyone else.

Sounds like some good feedback. I would deal with them again. Nice to have local shops. It is also very nice having detroit muscle, roseville moparts and mancini racing all within 10 miles of my house. :)

Hi all, I would like to add dual hood scoops to my 72 scamp and was wondering if anyone had a template they were done with or would let me borrow. Did Scamps ever come with hood scoops or just dusters/demons? They have the same hood right?
