    Anyone try Thompson powerblast plate

The OP asked "Anyone have any testimonies" so I shared the opinions of some friends. I'm sure everybody has used the butt dyno at some point to validate a modification they've made.

70-71 dart fuel fill tube in a 72 dart?

From what I understand '71 is a 1 year only part, and nearly impossible to find a cap for. Duster/Demon/Dart Sport are different. Look for '73-up Swinger/Scamp parts.

I've never checked the mileage, but it is definitely an improvement over the 2-bbl.

Recommended 4bbl carb for stock 318

I have an Edelbrock LD4B intake and an Edelbrock 1406, 600 c.f.m., carburetor on my completely stock (except for the MP Electronic Ignition & SummitRacing double-roller timing chain/gears) 116,000 miles 318 (auto with 3.23:1 sure-grip 8 3/4").

    14" X 3" Paper Air Filter

Does anyone have a manufacturer part number for a 14" X 3" air filter. The last one I have was not in its packaging, and I can't remember what brand or part number it was. I went to AutoZone and asked if he could provide search on size and provide a part number. No such luck! Help please!

    Gas cap dilemma

The original gas cap from '71 Dart GT was long gone before I got the car. The previous owner put a chrome '72 & up gas cap on it. It was "clocked" at an odd angle and was not flush. I gave up on the idea of locating a painted '71 gas cap and went with a '69 Charger flip top (with the adapter...

    Edelbrock 1406 which air cleaner?

Found an Edelbrock 14" X 3" chrome (with the Edelbrock script lettering on it) air filter assembly at the local AutoZone. The base fits perfectly, and I used the old plain chrome lid from the air filter I got from my buddy. The brand new shiny Edelbrock lid may become some wall art for the garage.

    Edelbrock 1406 which air cleaner?

Yes, there are a couple of dips about 180* apart/across from each other but not enough room to clear the choke. Darn!

    Edelbrock 1406 which air cleaner?

My Dart GT is finally sporting an Edelbrock LD4B intake manifold and a 1406 600 c.f.m. carburetor and I need an air filter assembly. I got one from a buddy that has a "dropped base" and it does not clear the electric choke on the carburetor. I just want a simple no name chrome lid with a 14"...

    Fuel Filter Location

Mattax, I'm not worried about keeping the car "original". Besides, I ruined the "original" when I added the SSBC front disc brakes, MP Performance electronic ignition, the '70 hood scoops & rallye wheels, etc... I can't afford the numbers matching game, but I do appreciate and respect...

    Fuel Filter Location

Mine is like just like BrianT stated: I wondered this also because that is the way mine is set up. Rubber line with the filter in it from the fuel line to the pump and a solid metal line from the pump to the carb. NOTHING on my car is original though. However, my car is VERY original...

    Edelbrock LD4B ?s

Thanks everyone for all your input(s). I will try to find a pipe plug for the added hole (with teflon tape). I do have a thick carb gasket to help prevent the fuel boil I've read about. I will also borrow the appropriate "tap", from my work, for the thermostat housing bolt holes. I'm...

    Edelbrock LD4B ?s

I have an Edelbroack LD4B intake manifold I got off of E-Bay that I have a few questions about (please see photo). #1 What is the hole in the rear of the manifold (between the Chrysler part number and the edelbrock "E") used for? Do I need it? If not, what should I "plug" it with? Would...

    Fuel Filler Tube ?s

Will a fuel filler tube from any year (67-76) Dart (Scamp) interchange? Are the Duster/Demon/Dart Sport fuel filler tubes any different than the Dart/Scamp tube? I believe the tube unscrews from the outside of the quarter panel, then simply pulls out of the rubber grommet in the trunk floor...
