It seems like I have seen late 60's or early 70's Steering Wheels that have Allen Head Bolts showing on the horn botton/center cover. Is this correct? If so would really like to see picture of one. You might feel old when your idea of a road trip is going to the Doc's.

In 1966 the tach was to the right of the speedometer. Non tach cars had a Vacuum Gauge in this place. Not sure if 65 were the same. What I did to my 66 was made a plate to fit the Vacuum Gauge hole and cut a hole in the center to mount a old (cira early 70s) Super Sun Tach. Looks pretty good...

I'm fairly sure the 66's also had the silver with the black stripe.

The texture finish on the metal back panels of my buckets and on the side of the floor console are a little beat up. (66 cuda) Any ideas on how to refinsh them. I have tried using wrinkle paint but could never get a uniform pattern.
