15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

Sounds promising... but do the bolt pattern and center opening match our Mopars?

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

I've been busy with other projects ;) but I really don't like the idea of spacers. More parts that could break at a bad time... are they even NHRA-tech legal?

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

That's what I'm running now (someone else made them) except they have 8" backspacing which works with a B-body rear and minitubs, which is what my car had when I got it. I don't have the skills or tools to widen or otherwise modify rims myself.

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

That's ok, I saw the message :) No, I have not gotten new wheels yet (and would need to buy 325 tires to go with them)! Doing OK on the street with the 295's for now. But thanks for the tip on Stockton. I'll check back with them at some point although shipping to Missouri isn't going to be...

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

And in another style too. I have to see what those look like, of course.

    Wheel Vintiques is looking promising:

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

AutoDrags would be fine and more or less "old school period correct", if I could find a set for sale! Could also go with other aluminum wheels. A quick search just on Summit shows 22 off-the-shelf, but I don't want those styles. Steel, Aluminum & More Aftermarket Wheels at Summit Racing

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

It used to be a readily available backspacing (maybe not in steelies though), since it's exactly what is needed for a stock A-body rear with minitubs and 3" spring relocation! Guess not enough people are building that combo any more... I'd have to look it up on my Moser's worksheet, but I think...

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

I appreciate the input, but please read the post more carefully. I never said it had a 7.25" rear axle! Yes. I have a B-body 8-3/4" axle that I had narrowed, with mini-tubs and spring relocation. And I have measured. The 295/50 15" tires are almost rubbing on the inside, and too much...

15x10 steel wheel with 7.25" backspace?

Doesn't anyone make a 15x10 steel wheel (4.5" bolt pattern) with a 7.25" backspace any more? I have stock front steelies with 195/70-14 tires that take a dog dish cap. But my rears don't match the front since they are a widened pair of rally wheels, and are 8" backspace (a bit close on the...

    195/70 or 205/70?

My 195/70R14 sidewalls say their max load is 1366 lb @ 51 psi. So far they're working well for my low-deck Dart with 1.03" t-bars and 295/50R15's out back. Those big back tires can also help stop the car. I don't drive it in the rain :p When it's time to replace the fronts (either for age or...

    Mini tub Dart wheel sizes

I had a B-body housing shortened to A-body width, backbraced and trued by Moser. It was off quite a bit from the visible offset of the ends welded back onto the tubes. Anyhow I currently have 15x10 (widened rally wheels with an 8" backspacing), and 295-50R15 tires. It's a bit too close on the...

    Wheel Vintiques or US Wheel

Well that sucks, I was just about to order some OEM-style 15x10's with 7.25" backspace :( Would WV or USW be good choices for that?

OEM look 15x10 steel rims with custom backspacing?

No suggestions or favorite companies? I put new springs on ( 1964-1976 Dodge & Plymouth Leaf Springs | General Spring ) and the rear is centered better with more clearance to the frame/inner wheel tub, so I can keep the 8" BS for now. What backspace is everyone running with minitubs...

OEM look 15x10 steel rims with custom backspacing?

My studs (on Dr. Diff axles) barely come out the nuts as it is. Could MAYBE use a 1/8" spacer. I should have got the 2" studs I suppose... but really wanted to keep the stock look, at least from the side ;) I'm not sure that Wheel Vintiques has an OE style rim with a custom backspacing, at...

OEM look 15x10 steel rims with custom backspacing?

I had found somewhere a pair of 15" steel (rally) rims cheap, that had been widened to 10" with an 8" backspacing. Perfect fit for a B-body rear under my '72 Swinger with minitubs and 3" spring relocation, even though they don't quite match my OEM fronts. But when I had Moser true the housing...

Are there any 15" BBP steel rims for A-body fronts?

My '72 Dart sleeper now has disc brakes in the front (4.5" big bolt pattern, of course). On the rear I have 15" BBP steel rims widened to 10" with 295-50R15 tires in the minitubs. The rolling shell came with 14" steel rims and worn-out tires which I now need to replace. 205-70R14 tires are...

    hankook ventus 295-50-15

I just bought a pair of the Hankook Ventus 295-50-15 for $230 with free shipping (today only, the website says) from Discounttires.com :D They'll fit easily in my minitubbed '72 Dart. I'd have preferred the Mickey Thompson ET Streets in 295-55, which are an inch taller and about 3/4 inch more...

    Putting 325s out back?

Hope it's ok to post in this old thread? I would also like to put 325-50/15's under my '72 Dart. It has already been mini-tubbed when I got it, and I'm planning on ladder bars (but not sure yet if coilovers or leaf springs/floaters)... The problem is that I have a B-body 8-3/4 rear & leafs...
