    I just installed a Borgeson power steering box in my 74 Duster. Summit sent the box for 72 that has the smaller 1-1/8 pitman shaft Will a pitman arm for a 72 work in my otherwise stock 74 steering setup?

    Does anyone have experience with the AC Delco branded rebuilt power steering boxes for a 74 A-body? I need a replacement and don’t want to spend the coin on the firm feel unit. What I’m looking at is about $165 shipped.

    Hello, I bought this column used and rebuilt it with new bearings etc. I didnt have the plastic gear indicator so I just stuck the on from my old 74 column in the space with a couple drops of glue for now. Looking to get the right indicator letters and needle. Wondering what this column came out of?

    He has The V8 with AC bars in the car as I do in my Duster. This guy swears these shocks do wonders for the cornering.

    I used an old flap wheel then plumbers emery cloth to prep the shaft on my Duster column. For a budget build, a great thing about this mod is that it only costs about $9 for the bearing shipped to your door via Amazon.

    My project was a basket case when I bought it. It was over two years ago when the blown motor was taken out. I have been staring at the motor and then then this pump and bracket for a week now and it confounds me how it could possibly work...Any help would be appreciated.....:sign3:

    Stupid coupler question

    I just got my kit from the dealer and I have a stupid question. My column had a ton of grease in the coupler. Do you fill the coupler with grease before sliding the seal on and crimping the cap?

    I drove the pin out of my steering column coupler, and I get grease and grime gets stuff stuck, but man, I cant get that thing to slide of the steering box for nothin! I had every pry bar I could find between the coupler and the pump with no luck. Any tricks to get it off?
