So I went through all the connections again and everything seems tight enough with no leaks. Double checked the rear brakes and made a minor adjustment. Then a pumped the brakes up and placed a block on them for a few days and went back and checked all the connections again, as before, no leaks...

Thanks, hoses are not to short, 17-18"inches. I have the calipers rear mounted so I should probably have shorter hoses.

Visually, they do not appear to short when the wheels are turned the hole way. They do not seem to be stretched and have enough excess.

I get it, master cylinder has been replaced twice with new units. I can't believe I could be unlucky 3 times in a row.

This hole thing is kicking my ***. Calipers are correct(bleeders on top) and lines do not get pinched.

Thanks everyone, I have discovered another symptom that someone may be able to shed some light on. Car is currently up on jack stands and when I turn the steering wheel the entire way side to side it pushes brake fluid up through the master cylinder an forces fluid out around the caps.

How did you figure out that it out?

Understood, didn't know if it had anything to do with the rear cylinders and pressures or just something that could impact it.

Pirate Jack (a.k.a. MBM retail) have great kits at some of the best prices I've seen. I would venture a guess that some if not many of the items Dr. Diff sales come from MBM. MBM manufactures the brake components. I have the Pirate Jack disc brake kit on the front of my 74 Duster and very happy...

72blunblu, I'm trying to confirm that the stock manual brake push rod will properly fit/seat in a 15/16 bore for a cast iron master cylinder. Looks like the 15/16 bore masters were for pwr brakes. I was not really interested in buying other pushrods or master kits.

Ok, what is the bore size of the master your using now?

Another thing that confuses me is when I look on Rockauto (for example) they call out masters for only disc/disc but they look identical to the disc/drum masters, anything on that?

I guess the big question is will the stock manual push rod work ok in those smaller 15/16 bore with a new rubber retaining ring? Just double checking the real world application out there. You know, check, check again and spend the $$$$ once. v/r Ron
