A couple of my latest favorites. seems racer ish.

Porsche always used a different type of synchro than what we are used to, you have to be real careful with them. This guy is using his head and not his wallet.

    Front chin spoiler

Someone here posted about using one of a Ford Ranger that wrapped around the corners, so good a fit it looked factory.

    NHRA new TV package..

Finally Disney got completely out of racing. They never could follow circuit races, and their drag coverage wasn't any better. Let's hope Fox keeps Mike Dunn.

    Hillclimb setups

I've never seen those classic PA hillclimbs, but I did a brisk run up the rough road at Mt. Equinox, VT in my Duster with MOPAR HD springing all around, with KYB gas shocks. This seems to be a good starting point. If you're going for FTD,it will take more than that, but that's where the fun is.

What do you guys think about the new Avenger pro stockers?

Being a casual viewer of the drags, I'm a little confused about all the Ponchos in Pro Stock. Are they not out of business? Would like to see more MOPARs out there.

    30 years between runs

Just to stir it up a little, remember D. Earnhart Sr. was wearing an open-faced helmet, something for which Bill Simpson will kick himself in the *** forever. And as far as the 'good ole days' go for, I've been following all forms of racing since 1969, and I'm sure glad the body count is not now...

I know that area well, I used to work in North Haven (on Old Broadway). That site has a lot going for it. Good luck, and if you need help, let me know.

When I first read your message, I thought you were in the Norwich area, but I see you're New Haven county. I have some thoughts for Eastern CT, but do not have the time to chase them. Without giving too manyspecifics away, where in NHC? I grew up in Cheshire, so I'm reasonably familiar with the...

    Scca/road Racing

I was parked next to a 69 Bara recently, and he had all the usual parts, plus sub-frame connectors, plus '02 Mustang 17'wheels with Michelins,.He had just got it on the road, but it looked like a pretty mean lapping day car. Real road racing would mean something completely different.

    Scca/road Racing

I've been thinking about it with my Duster. As an East Coast guy you can tell me all your secrets (ha ha) and we'll never race against each other.

As a member of new England Region, S.C.C.A., I know we tried for years to build a new road race circuit in New England, and it seems like it is finally happening in Central MA. In CT the last big chance was a P&W East Hartford, but that became Cabela's instead. Someone with far more time on...
