Where could I find some clips for the vinyl top trim on the quarter panels of a Duster/Demon?

Can someone tell me what screws are used to secure the fuel neck to the quarter panel? A pic with the cap off would be great too. TIA

I looked at an extra door I have and it is clearly seam sealer. The ones I took off the car were cut from white foam approximately 0.25" thick. They were cut perfectly to fit the hole. Appeared to be cut with a stamp. Definitely not cut with a razor or scissors. Strange.

Unless you are talking about the foam sealer like they used under the fender?

My originals were foam. I will try to get a picture up tomorrow.

I'm talking about those white foam seals that go in the door hinge pillar. The hinge bolts go through them. I would guess they are around 3/4" square. Thanks!

Mine are definitely curved. I looked at many pictures of Dusters and Demons. Some look straight but a straight edge ruler proves they are curved.

Interesting, I'm finding black battery trays probably 20:1 over body color trays when I search for photos. They would have been painted with the body, right? I don't recall ever seeing an unpainted spot when I remove a tray. I might stick with black. I think it would look better.. Thanks!

Paint over the rubber seems to be the way it was done in these years. I wonder how the pro resto guys address this? If you paint them and then bend them around the wires, the paint will crack but if you bend the tabs before painting it is difficult to paint both sides of the tab. And of...

Mine appear to have been dipped in a Plasti Kote type coating, then they were covered with yellow paint at some point. The rubber coating appears original but I have seen several unrestored engine bays that had nothing but body color on these tabs. What is correct?

I would avoid the bed liner and underneath seam sealer unless you are building a daily driver. If you use seam sealer on both sides of the seam, make sure there is no air trapped in there. Just noticed you are in Duluth too, :thumbsup:

That is what I do after all body/paint work is done. I use Transtar Amber in a rattle can. It is really thin so it gets into the door and rocker seams really well, then dries to a thick coat of wax that does't seem to let dirt and crap stick to it.

None of my Mopars appear to have had any seam sealer on the underside of the car but there are a few places on my Demon that could really benefit from some. Do any of you guys do this?

I use that on all my new vehicles. When there is some surface rust, I think something that converts rust is needed.
