    Black Friday Sales

Now I'm sorry I asked, I'm from overseas and wanting to spend my money in America as I do often and hoping somebody can point me in the direction of the best deal. I'd imagine there are lots of US made parts on sale and even if they are not made in the US, somebody over there is still getting...

    Arizona folks

I use the split pin method, it's a lot easier and mroe elegant than messing around with screws and wire. Probably done half a dozen of them, just take it easy putting it back together, had to use the billet one once because somebody else forced the pink thing back in and broke another bit off it.

    $250,000 318

He is just using eBay to put the word out, a real buyer will be able to contact him and buy it off market. Who wants to pay eBay fees on that sort of money.

    No auto related

I had an old fidge/freezer that worked like that/same problem and had to replace the defrost heater (element) a couple of times. Usually happened after the fridge was moved so the heater must have been a bit fragile in that particular model.

Wife got a *new* car; you guys won't like it!

I was talking to an Audi owner, I asked about maintenance costs, he said, not an issue, first 3 years included then you just trade it on a new one. Nice if you can afford the luxury of a new car every 3 years. I'll just stick to my 300C's thanks.

To Sell Or Not To Sell

Buy a cheap late model for a daily hack, the 240 will cost you money and time to build and will not be that cheap to run, they are a collector car too now. Work out which project you really want to build and focus on that. Sell some other parts/engine cars if you really need the cash. Most of us...

F*rd comin' back to the USA?

Toyota, Kia, Hyuandai and others all seem to be able to build cars in your country, it's about time your own companies made more effort to do the same. If nobody has jobs then ultimately there is nobody left to buy their products.

'Street Outlaws' show no longer filming in Romulus

The racing itself may well be legit but the setups are quite obviously staged, how oftend do you see a lighting tower in the background of what is supposed to be a street race. If you have to take your car out there in a trailer, it's not really a street race. The show can be entertaining at...

    JEG's BLOWS CHUNKS

Yes, it's a bit sus that they had them listed on the Bay and then not available, but hey, maybe someone walked into the store and brought their remaining stock while the listing was active. Big company with a lot of stuff and hard to keep track of everything.

    JEG's BLOWS CHUNKS

I've certainly been caught with Summit too when stuff was supposed to be in stock and wasn't or where the expected shipping date just kept blowing out, but no issues getting a refund in these circumstances either.

    BMW purist....don't look

I should say mine was never intended to be registered so it's very low tech, I've pulled out pretty much everything fancy that BMW put in there, not just the engine. I find it funny that what was once a +$50K car in this country is now cheaper and easier to find than a rust free Valiant.

    BMW purist....don't look

Yeah, can't get it registered over here either, it's just a low budget track toy. It's funny that the BMW guys don't seem to get too upset by engine swaps, that particular forum has a whole section devoted to them, not like if you can on here and wanted to put a Chev in your Mopar.

    BMW purist....don't look

Had to bring the collector forward on the drivers side to clear the steering but they only go that way for a little bit: The header on the other side just dumps in the middle like normal. They actually have a good sized engine bay, which makes them pretty popular for V8 engine swaps, but...
