    1967 Dart headlights questions

I do have plenty of them, located in Rockford, IL. I don't usually ship parts anymore but if you can't find them let me know. They are the same from 67-76 on every A-body so there are plenty of them around. I am gone this week as I transport muscle cars and am going to the east coast...

The first letter of the paint code is the year the formula was first mixed so J would be 1973 and would be different from other year F8 formula's.

Wow, can't believe how much these have gone up...

I have a set of Legendary upholstery for a 69 Dart Swinger bench seat in black and they are on back order, probably for quite a while. I priced them because there is someone interested in them, $601.99 for front, $422.99 for rear. They show a discount to $546.99 and $383.99 though. I told him...

    69 dart scoop repair

I had a scoop similar to that and just made a gasket that fit perfectly under the scoop and sealed it to the hood, then bolted down the scoop. Fiberglass will always crack, especially if it is still on the springs and gets opened and closed a lot. One time the wind closed it for me and cracked...

Hole in inner fender in engine bay?

Yes, a normal place for rust, that is not bad compared to many I have had. Weld a piece in there, but the ideal fix is to take off the fender and fix it right as you will probably have more rust that will keep on rusting...

Have you ever wondered why the doors got heavier?

73 was the first A-Body that got them. Glass changed pretty much every year from 73-76, don't assume that the door glass interchanges through those years, I found out the hard way!
