Years Mopar Rally wheels were offered?

I guess I just see so many "restored" 68's with rally wheels I figured it was an option. So was the recalled aluminum wheel in 69 the first choice besides dog dishes or wheel covers pre 70?

Years Mopar Rally wheels were offered?

I thought it was 68-74 with 3 different center caps 68-71, early 72, and 72-74.

    Dodge Challenger Wheels

cuda SRT8 is it possible the mustangII rotors you had at some point in their lives had a set of 5x115 wheels torqued on them changing THEIR bolt pattern? I agree with Deon the LX cars use 5x4.5 all the LX guys bitched about this back in the day because the 5x115 were more common in the...

    15x8 magnum 500s on front of 70-72 valiant/dart/duster/demon?

I Just put 15x7 keystone klassics with 3.75" backspacing on the front of my 68 barracuda with 215/60-r15s and one side is catching the front edge of the fender. My car has been hit on that corner so I may be fine if I pull the fender forward a bit but then I might have a gap. The other side does...

    hankook ventus 295-50-15

I think there are quite a few tires still in that size, Mastercraft avenger g/t, Mickey Thompson sportsman s/t, cooper cobra g/t, Eldorado legend g/t, Hercules H/p 4000, Hooiser quick times, and the mentioned BfGoodrigh, Hankook, and Firestones. My rear tire of 265/50r15 looks to be a dead...

15x8 cragars what size rear tire

Just bolt them on w/o tires and then look at clearance. a 235 series tire is 9 1/4 inches wide, which would stick out another 5/8" from the rim. A 255 is 10" or 1" wider then the rim on each side. Any of those in a 60 series should be ok height wise, just look at the fender lip and the leaf spring.

    Keystones?

I like the wheels but would go bigger on the back tire. 245/60/14 would match the height of the front pretty good and fill the rear better.

    Keystone lug nuts

If you are still small bolt pattern then your lug nuts should still be 7/16" right? So those Keystones are NOT unilug right? I'd say they do need a shank style lugnut but with a round washer, not the offset washers unilug Keystone wheels use. So I'd say 5 sets of these Those wheels look good...

    spare tire

I keep my ammo in the well and the guns flat across the top. If I get a flat I will just flag somebody down... Seriously, I think a donut out of a minivan is how I'll go. I have a stagger front and rear so nothing would be ideal anyway.

help!! I am in need of a pair of bfg radial t/a 215/60 r15 tires

Summit for me says mid august and it's listed under Coker. I guess this settles my choice between 225 and 215! The 225 seems more plentiful.

Want Radial T/A's for 67 Valiant with SBP rallyes

I have 205/70-14s on the front of my Barracuda right now. They are about the right size but I prefer the look of a wider 215/60-14. I am switching to 15's on the front and will be going 215/60-15 or 225/60-15. Here is what the 201/70-14 looks like

09 Charger rt wheels on a 66 plymouth fury

Not only running 5x114.3 on LX cars but doing it for 8 years and over 100,000 miles on thousands of them. This duscussion has been going on since 2004 and there are 2 sides, I personally say that less then .35mm isn't enough to make a difference, look at it on a ruler. That .35mm is what each...

09 Charger rt wheels on a 66 plymouth fury

no don't mill the wheels just buy acorn lugs that fit your fury studs. Are you trying to use "shank" style nuts off the Fury? Use the conical seat, and if you need more meat on the seat use "bulge" conical seat. look up Gorilla 61187 on summitracing $16 for 4. Or for less the Summit brand 754006...

09 Charger rt wheels on a 66 plymouth fury

I would think the Charger wheels require the acorn style lug nuts. They shouldn't go through the holes at all but stay on the surface of the wheel. The bevel in the base of the lugnut will center itself on the wheel stud.

    Keystone Klassics

not a Dart, but here is my 68 Barracuda. Those are large bolt pattern 15x10's on the back with 265/50/15's and small bolt pattern 14x6 on the front with 205/70/14's. I have 2 large bolt pattern 15x7's to go on the front with 225/60/15s when I swap out my front end, they should look a little...

A body with New Challenger Wheels

It will center in the bolt circle and so you are talking the width of 2.5 human hairs off per stud. Plus as mentioned the LX wheels are actually 5x4.5. So hate them for looks or whatever else you want, but they certainly fit, and so will 5x115.

A body with New Challenger Wheels

So even if they are exactly made in a 5x114.3 compared to a perfect 5x115 you are talking about .7 mm difference in the diameter of the whole circle. That would be .45 millimeter difference spaced at each hole. Less then half of a millimeter? I say torquing the lug nuts will adjust the studs...

A body with New Challenger Wheels

A 5x115 will fit on a 5x4.5 and vice versa. They are not the same size but they are close enough that it's hard to even tell the difference. You are talking less then a milimeter! I bet the modern LX cars use bigger studs too which will make even more room on the older cars (I just looked it up...

    White Letter Tires?

We always used SOS pads in the detail business but then I haven't been in that business since 1987! Still, white walls or raised letters, it worked great, easy to find, and is safe.

I think this one is even a little better. http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp you can put wheel backspacing or offset or different widths and it give a good idea of how it will look.

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

My 5x4.5 rear end out of a 73 duster is a 7 1/4. It was a disc brake car so it had the 5x4.5 pattern but still only had a 7 1/4 rear. That looks good though, what size tires are on that 67?

    Bolt pattern adapter?

Just use the rear out of a 73 up (although some 4 wheel drum brake cars still used the small bolt pattern that year so watch out.) If you swap to a 7 1/4 then it should go in with no mods at all, brake lines, driveshaft, U joints, U bolts, everything should be the same. If you go to a 8 1/4 you...

    Bolt pattern adapter?

The easiest way is to find a 73 up A-body with disc brakes on the front. It doesn't matter what it is so your best bet for the cost is probably a Valiant or Dart 4 door. Then just take the parts off the doner car and use them on your car. There are lots of step by step guides out there on the...

    Bolt pattern adapter?

I think you would be happier doing a conversion to the large bolt pattern. The parts are pretty plentiful off a 73 or newer disc brake A-Body. You can look at slant 6 cars, 4 doors, wrecked rusted, it doesn't matter. Do you have disc brakes on the front now? If not as a daily driver you will...

Using LX (New Charger/Magnum/300) Wheels on a 74 Dart

Here is a craigslist ad with new Charger wheels on a 68 Barracuda. Looks like he used and eary b-body 8 3/4 to push out the rear and I bet spacers on the front 73 disc brake conversion. Overall this looks like a decent car for $10,000. http://montana.craigslist.org/cto/1723583066.html
