    TF & Speedmaster Flow Tests

I stopped getting excited about the TF heads about the same time you did. When the rumors started swirling of an OOTB 300 CFM head, knowing what it takes to get a set of Edelbrocks or there, it seemed too good to be true. The first few 408 builds i saw using them making "ok" ish HP, and then...

    TF & Speedmaster Flow Tests

at one point i had an old M1 that i almost ran, but couldn't convince the spread bore flange (or modifying it for a 4150) was the right thing to do. Is there much out there thats supposed to be better than a Super victor?

    TF & Speedmaster Flow Tests

Thats where it was done making HP, so thats where i shift it. haha. it will lose some if i short shift it. I used to have a cheetah that i absolutely hated, and would shift early by mistake. Went back to a B&M pro ratchet and never looked back. It probably weights in a tick over 3100 with...

    TF & Speedmaster Flow Tests

it runs 10.20's with a full interior, 3.91 gear, in a 10x 26 inch tire car. I shift at 7400 ish. traps 126-128. our track is notoriously "slow" as the last 1/8 mile is uphill. it's been a great engine. I have dyno sheets with 618HP @7400. before i switched to E85. Heads flowed a best...

    Trick Flow harmonic balancer install

Hold the crank pulley up there...how close are ya? Should bottom our pretty noticeably. And Heads up, these are not powdercoated, it's painted. I have TF sb damper on My dart and got some fuel on it. Paint wipes right off....I wasn't too thrilled.

    Fan Issue Blue Print 360

Ok, so it's all 1970+ arrangement. I don't see any questions I asked, answered besides that, so my best input at this point is measure your allowable width, and look for a thin fan. Do you have 2.5 inches? From hub mating surface to radiator? That's what this one is. Not hard to call...

    Fan Issue Blue Print 360

the only real "Problem" I think he has is it gets hot at low speeds, and he knows it's the fan. So may just need a little help figuring out what fan/spacer combo gets him the CFM he needs. Happy to help when we get all the info!

    Fan Issue Blue Print 360

Good Morning! I'm going to guess most of the percieved issues with the engine is related to us using the 1970+ water pump, and timing cover, and damper. A/C cars always seem to toss another wrench in there with the different spacing pulleys. I wouldn't mind your serial number, so i can see...

Thoughts/opinions on Blueprint Engines 408 stroker crate engine?

Sorry for my delay! I can't find any others higher than that one. I'm embarrassed to say that one snuck out a tad under. We're only human, but very sorry it happened regardless. A minimum is a minimum for a reason, and we're taking it seriously and have made sure it wont happen again. If you...

Thoughts/opinions on Blueprint Engines 408 stroker crate engine?

First, thanks for being a customer!!! Second, please PM me your serial number....I want to look into the hp deal... I'm hoping they just printed run #1, opposed to run #3 or #4, and I can email the right one. Thanks again!

    Extending valve cover baffle. Thoughs?

Had another member ask me about this so bumping it to the tip and letting everyone know this simple baffle is still on the car 3 years later. And my right stuff bead is still holding strong. Lol you can pick up an engine by the intake manifold with no bolts in it, with that stuff on the China...

    Edelbrock Air Gap Cheap Knockoff

I just don't get what's so baffling about an intake manifold possibly not being the best choice for every engine on the planet. Lol

    Edelbrock Air Gap Cheap Knockoff

So now this 323 makes the "same power" as "my" stroker? I'm gonna assume you mean the BluePrint BPC4085CTC. That engine is advertised at 465 HP / 494 FT LBS. And thats MININUM advertised. With a dyno sheet and a 30 month warranty I might add. Your 323 peaked horsepower at 427, and made 477...

    Edelbrock Air Gap Cheap Knockoff

They 100% left horsepower on the table. They also picked iron magnum heads, and decided to use a 1 5/8 header in a dyno competition? I'm simply providing a data point, much as you are. Mine is however, what I have seen on a 480 hp 408 with my own eyes, with an True "A,B" comparison. In this...

    Edelbrock Air Gap Cheap Knockoff

Yup! Twas me. Usually someone jumps right in to tell me that I'm wrong, they have seen the off brand intakes do fine, so I haven't chimed in, in these off brand vs edelbrock intake threads for a bit, but I remain firm that I have personally seen the common off brand "dual intake bolt pattern...

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

The entire idea is to reduce cost of our current option, which is the rpm. This will not increase our engine price. What would be the point? These will be machined and assembled in Nebraska, like all our other heads. The casting itself will be done overseas. Sorry as I'm sure that's not what...

Wasn't directed at anyone specifically. Just want to make sure commercially avail parts will bolt on. You wouldn't believe the flack we get for sbc head exhaust ports being raised .500, and BBC heads being raised .600....just trying to keep the masses happy.

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

It's all good conversation! If I was looking for an all out race head, and didn't care about people's headers and intakes fitting, I would be taking a very different approach. This should be a nice little head when done, for most of the people in the market. And don't get me wrong, I like...

I run 10.20's in a steel car with a head that barely flowed 280. I appreciate everyone's input, and I think this should be a fun project. Thanks all for pointing out things I hadn't thought of!!

Suggestions for new design Aluminum Mopar SB clean slate (kind of) cylinder heads

We use stud mount rockers on BBC engines with 850 hp, and 600 hp sbc's without girdles. Rocker arm issues really aren't something we see at all. If someone wants to add girdles, no problem, but we rarely see anyone use them on ours.

I 100% will be looking at the springs we already purchase. If we can make these use the same springs we do on an LS, SBC, etc, that'll be great. And yes....we buy pallets of them at a time.

We will provide the guide plates with the heads when we get to retailing them. They won't add any cost. If we can make heads....we can make guideplates lol no worries there. We already do for sbc BBC sbf
