    A518 behind a 440?

Its a pricey swap but worth it. We just swapped one into my buddies 70 Coronet. We found a 518 in the junkyard and rebuilt it with a shift kit and red eagle clutches. You can use a vacuum switch and pressure switches to make it all work. There is a complete kit for that available as well. I...

    maybe dumb??s maybe not!!

I think your right I dont remember seeing a clutch master cylinder. I really dont want to do that much work. A v-8 swap in a early A is task on its own. I guess I will have to find a different tranny then, I would really like to have 5 gears though. Thanks for all the input.

    maybe dumb??s maybe not!!

The 273 is about 230-240 hp I had it built close to commando specs. I dont know that much about the later manual transmissions that chrysler used, so I didnt know if it would work or not.

    maybe dumb??s maybe not!!

Would a manual transmission from a 3.9l work with a 273, I think its a NV3500, but not sure? My brother in law has a wrecked 88 Ram 1500 with a 3.9 and 5spd tranny, I was wondering if the tranny would work in a 66 Valiant, and what mods would have to be done? If not are there any 5 speed manuals...

    transmission interchangability ??s

Sounds like it may be easier to add a slip joint to the driveshaft. I was hoping that I could just swap the output shaft from a newer model, since I have one.

    transmission interchangability ??s

I am wondering if the tail sections and output shafts of early and later 904s are interchangable? I am rebuilding my 65 904 and would like to switch to a slipyoke. I was thinking that if they were, that would be a good way to do it, since it will be out of the car anyway. Then I could just use a...

    8 3/4 ?s

I am checking in to that at the moment but have had no luck finding anyone in the area. Thats the only draw back about living in the boonies when you need something done there is no one around to do it. I did some measuring and If I were to use the rear from the A100 I will only be adding about...

    8 3/4 ?s
