How would I do that, to the body of the relay?

New starter, new relay.. initially- it cranked very slow(ign start) and nearly melted one of two ground cables connected to my battery.. short to ground? Now, ign start doesn't work at all, but when relay is jumped, it cranks fine. Input?

Also, my starter sits less than a finger space away from my headers. I heard that can be a big problem. Anyway to avoid that if I replace the starter without replacing the headers? Thanks..

I have a 73 dart sport with a rallye dash. My gas gauge has been broken since I got the car. My dad made a gas gauge and we had an old voltage limiter from the stock dash. Is there any way to wire up the gas gauge with the vl below, so I can have a temp gas gauge?

73 Dodge Dart Sport. I have a MSD ignition. Previous owner replaced stock dash with that of a Duster with the tach between speedo and fuel,alt,temp. The long post on back of tach goes to switched +12 volt and the short post goes to the tach output on the MSD. Is that the correct hook-up? Thanks.

Anti-theft. I kinda like the fuel pump cut off, because my car is pretty loud and you would hear the initial start up. Eventually a good alarm system, But I dont trust them, hell, I have a few friends that can get around them in a minute. Thanks.
