I’ve got Doug’s d453 headers on my 5.9 magnum in a 68 Dart. Only had it up and running for a short time, so don’t know about burnout, but their sealing well so far.

I'm interested in this too. I don't have steering coupler clamp, but just installed my Doug's on my 5.9 swap and they are right up against my steering box in two places.

Good to know, I have a fresh set of Doug's I'll be bolting up to my 5.9 when I get it in.

Got mine about a year ago with the same deal, just need to get them on the car now.

Yep it will work fine. I have a 68 with the early 340 manifolds, and power steering, no problems.

Do these headers fit above the suspension draglink? , looks like they do.

No drone on the highway. When sitting still reving the engine, I hear more noise from the 7-blade fan under the hood than I do from the exhaust. Its still not dead quiet like a stock exhaust, but pretty good.

Well, my exhaust system install is done. I couldn't use the stock type hangers for the tips. My tips are for a 71 and i'm putting them on a 68. The hanger on my tips is farther forward than on 68 tips. (or so i've been told.) Anyway I went with a different type hanger. The tips extend about...

Well the /6 to 318 swap is almost done. I've even fired it up a couple times with no exhaust system past the h-pipe. Man it sounds mean with no mufflers ! Anyway, i'm fitting on the rest of the exhaust system and I'm just wondering how far the exhaust tips should extend beyond the rear...
