use a zinc oil additive! Valvoline VR-1 racing does have zinc in it. as does amsoil, royal purple, and a few others. the newer diesel oils do NOT have zinc. use Comp's additive to be on the safe side.

the coolant looks like its only sitting on top of the oil galley(?) so im going to use some rags to try and soak it up. my teacher said im a pretty good tig welder. but it would be my first time with aluminum. im going to try it on some scrap aluminum first. if i can't tig it. my teacher can.

no i can't warranty it. it was on the car when i got it and that was about a year ago. im pretty sure they had it on there longer than a couple months. im going to try and tig weld it on monday.

the primaries are filling up with way too much gas. is it possible that i set the float bowls too high? if i can't figure this out soon im going to break down and just get another damn carburetor. this carburetor is taking way too much time away from working on the Charger. its a 600cfm...

get an Accel super stock (yellow one) or and MSD Blaster 2. i had both on the duster with an electronic ignition and they're great. and don't buy that autozone cr@p.

ok i found a good amount of gas sitting at the bottom of the intake to justify a carb rebuild.

does sound like it was dieseling, ill check the carb gasket, i have a breather, no water so far in the oil, miles on the motor dont know, doesnt burn oil, i started it by giving it some gas and i got my 4x4 to go. sorry for the in n out thing. if it comes to that, im just going to start putting...

spray starting fluid into the carb. if it turns over its a fuel problem. if it doesnt its an ignition problem.
