    71 Duster 340 Fender Tag

No, mine has smooth bumpers. So should yours. The slotted bumpers are 1972. They were for the new design bumper jack that went in the bumper rather than under it.

    71 Duster 340 Fender Tag

That’s an aftermarket brake booster and master cylinder. Universal GM units that most brake companies sell. Chances are the car was originally a manual brake car. I have the same car with really similar options (with manual disc brakes) but mine is GY3 Curious Yellow. Yours looks good in white!

Oh shoot. I didn’t read that part. Sorry.

What’s it worth? Odd 69 Swinger

Something else odd about this car. The fender tag was stamped on the back side and has recessed digits instead of raised. I’ve never seen that….

    4 door mopar cars

I love 4 door cars! Don’t have any A bodies right now. The princess of Valiant’s bought them all! Lol. I still have a 1969 Satellite, two 1964 Belvedere 4 doors and a 1967 Belvedere I 4 door. Don’t be hatin’ crew cabs!

    Mopar A-Body 4-Door parts....Save them?

What’s all that white slushy stuff on the ground around the cars? :) Nice to see wrecking yards with cool stuff still in them. Out west here, yards are very quick to rotate inventory and make the scrap money! There are a few yards you can still get old car parts out here, but you need to...

    1969 Barracuda PHOENIX

I know the guy selling it. He’s a good dude, just needs some cash. It’s a clean solid car!

    1972 340 4 spd Demon GA4 (sizzler ?)

The Sizzler package was the 340 look without the 340. They were Slant 6s and 318s only. Your car, being an H code, is a 340 Demon. That’s way better than a Sizzler in my opinion.

I’d like to see some rare beaters that are driven.

This is my pair of winter drivers. 66 Coronet 500 with a 318 4 barrel Poly engine with glass packs. Sounds nice and moves the cruiser around ok. And my 71 Demon. Fast and fun A body but there is something to be said about going topless. ;)

I beliveve the answer you’re looking for is 1950-52 Studebaker Champion and 1951-52 Studebaker Commander. Although, not muscle cars...

Have Cordoba's really hit these prices ?

Yeah, you can unbolt the isolated K member from a Doba and bolt in to a 73-74 B body. Córdoba, Magnum and 79 300 are B bodies too.

Have Cordoba's really hit these prices ?

yes, 1973-1979 are the same suspension. This car has the rear sway bar too. Wish you weren’t on the other side of the country too! I’d sell the rest of this car, cheap!

Have Cordoba's really hit these prices ?

I use to (still do, just not frequently) buy them for under $1000 and pull the engines. I just bought a 1979 300, which is a Cordoba with stripes and a little performance. The one I got has a 1968 440/727/8 3/4 suregrip. Had a small engine fire. So it’s a good donor, for sure! I do regret...

    Barracuda fender on FB

I had a nice pair of 69 Barracuda fenders that weren’t advertised for sale. A guy came over to buy some parts last year and asked me about them. I already had a nice set for my Cuda. I said make a reasonable offer. He called the next day and offered $750 each. I asked him if he thought that was...

    Picked up another car!

Yeah, that the original steering wheel. Called a rim blow. Has the horn button on the end of one of spokes next to the outer rim. Cool car

    Lowest optioned mopar you’ve seen

I had a 69 Dart swinger. It had only 2 rows of data on the fender tag! Slant 6, 3 on the tree, manual everything, rubber mat, no radio and I don’t think it had a heater either. B5 in and out. Someone on here built that car into a yellow Hemi clone. So it’s still around, just with more options now.

A Mopar nut like I have never seen before.

Dave is an awesome guy! One of my good Mopar buddies. About 6 years ago, I had a house fire and lost all my collection of cool toys. Dave found out about it and drove down to Phoenix where I was staying. He felt so bad for me, he gave me a box of Mopar toys and pictures. I was so touched by the...

Bitchin' Rides 1967 Coronet R/T ***spoilers***

Custom cars are something I like but hate. What do I like? I really enjoy the amount of work, skill and creativity that goes into custom builds. On the other hand, custom cars kind of kill the heart and soul of the car. This car being a 67 Coronet, had chrome in, out and up the wazoo! The...

Were early A bodies built better than the 67-76 models?

I think as far as trim and fanciness goes, it was a sign of the times. All cars in the late 50s up to mid 60s had lots of trim and detail. Even cheaper models had more trim than 70s cars. Manufacturers got away from the frills and shine for a more streamlined look. Look at most cars now, no...

    Well I hit a deer.

Damn wildlife! Good thing you're okay and it didn't go in to the windshield. This isn't the fist thread I've read about someone hitting a deer. Worst thing I've hit was a coyote. Had to clean hair and, uhh, coyote parts out of the engine bay and under carriage.

Need to get my rimblow or my cash back

Hey Joey, did you kick him off here or all the sites? I know he has accounts on C bodies and B bodies as well. I also got burned by this guy via PayPal but that was about 4-5 months ago. Well past the 90 day dispute time period... gave me a story he was in the hospital.

    Dodge demon project?

That really wasn’t a hard hit. Pretty easy to pull into shape again. A bodies are not the most structuraly solid car out there. For some of you older guys, I’m sure you remember these things in the junk yards in the 70s and 80s. They fold up pretty easily. My family and me were rear ended at a...

Thinking of buying a 5.7 Dodge Magnum

I know some have the valve seat issue. Guess it’s just a crap shoot. My mom has a 07 Durango with a 5.7 she bought new. It has 240k on it. She gets it serviced (oil changes and lube) at the dealer. It still has the original spark plugs! The only thing that’s had to be fixed on that truck was the...

    Daryl Finch

I’m curious, how long ago did the deal go down? Last I heard he was in jail for something like tax evasion. His “crew” looked like they loved the drug n thug life. Don’t know if he was into that. He use to attend the mopar shows here in the west but I haven’t seen him in probably the last 4-5...

    Backward LA-Magnum hybrid?

This is a pre Magnum engine, 87-ish to 91. They have roller cams and pretty decent closed chamber heads. Lots of people run those heads on early engines to get a little more compression.

    Odd

With 67-69 barracuda parts being so expensive, this was probably a much cheaper way to get in to a Barracuda and get it on the road. Sure, it look a little off, but someone likes it!

    Got followed home today.......

Those are sweet! I love 72-80 short beds. You did ok condition wise but those interior pieces are getting kinda tough to find. I think I have a 72-73 grille and possibly a left fender if you don't want to fix that one.

Not mine, 340 Duster for sale. $500

2 different cars? The vent window and the picture of the trunk are definitely dart/scamp. The interior shot looks like a duster roof. Wtf?
