Not sure how correct you want to be, but I bought a GOOD battery, and put the "green cap" cover on mine. (yes, yours is the yellow cap type. They make them too)

I had the same problem on a Ramcharger. The throttle body had loose bolts. Easy fix, but hard to see, until I actually touched it....the throttle body I mean.:angry7:

But this one looks like a factory box. I think they said orange and chrome boxes. They have a button and LEDs to adjust the limit. These will sell like hotcakes(price allowing). You just plug it in to the factory harness. It looks pretty neat.

Anyone else see these new ignition boxes, with an adjustable rev limiter? I want one!=P~

If you wreck, and ground out the pos. side, you will have big problems. The switch should be as close to the battery as possible(battery in trunk), and definately connected to the pos. side. This can create other issues, but from a strictly safety stand point, this is the only way to effectively...

John, I've been running them for three years with no probs. They do make the old lamps look like candles.

I'm still betting on the switch. Hurry up weekend, the suspense is killing me.

I don't mean to sound stupid, but have you played with the light switch? Ok, so I sound stupid(worst part is...I forgot to turn it up once myself) but I had to ask.
