This would be my guessd,and you probabaly flooded it because it was bad. If Ballast resistor is bad, it will turn over fine but just won't start. In case you don't know the ballast resistor is the white ceramic lookin' thing on the fire wall with wires going to each end. if you don't have a way...

I didn't talk to ya. I didn't take my car 'cause no power steering and I'm wearing a sling.I fractured my right arm and tore 3 of my rotator cuffs last week. My buddy had the blue 68 440 Barracuda parked two cars from ya.

I had a door from Washington State,Front fender from Arizona,and a trunk lid from Michigan all sent to me in Connecticut on Greyhound. About half the cost of UPS or Fed-Ex. That's the most cost effective way to go for large items.

My '65 is my daily driver. It makes going to and from work alot better. It reminds me of when the world was a better place.

I think you will need some kind of a trap under the shower or you'll have waste odor venting up into the shower,other than that it looks like it should work. (but I'm no plumber either,just did a lot on my own house)
