    Six pack carb ?'s

Good call brother on my goof (get'n old'r), sorry bout that. Yea... as I now recall, you are indeed correct: I originally had a set of Vette vacuum carbs for this build but swapped them for these (better) Ford/PAR carbs from an old poke at a show... and yes they are the Ford Nascar Holley carbs...

    Helper pump advice - please

I've decided to change over to a mechanical pump (Holley 12-360-11, 110 gph) from my current Mallory Comp 140. It's just a street car, but she's milling just under 550 at the crank. I have a full 3/8" system, pump mount at the tank, to a Mallory (big) filter, then a return style reg at 6 psi...

Fuel Line Fitting ID... what the heck?!

Ha, ha, ha... I thought I'd hear from you on that! Your information is very interesting, however, correct me (please) if I'm wrong, BUT doesn't the alternator pull/rob the same hp regardless if it's producing amps/volts/watts....or not? ha, ha.. It just spins and makes electrical...

Carb lines - Just for fun

All - thx much for the kind words and compliments, they're much appreciated. 64 Cuda: You have a new set of these? How cool, as it was my understanding that these were rare... perhaps they're not? I know this much; after riding in more than a few mopar six-pack setups and then this...

    Six pack supply?

I just posted a thread titled: Carb lines - Just for fun. Read that and return here. :profilel: The car is on jacks, in peices and coming together fairly well. I'm moving from a Holley Black pump (vane style) that came with the car to a Mallory Comp 140 (Gerator style) which I got new off...

Carb lines - Just for fun

I thought I'd share: Carb Fuel Line Upgrade = 5/16" to 3/8". I've a 408 stroker project that I purchased about a years ago (72 Duster). The fun factor is it has a six-pack setup which uses the Ford style carbs (Ford = mech ..vs.. Mopar = vacuum). The Ford style is a bit tricky since the end...

HELP - Where to mount fuel pump..?!

Thx for the responses, guys. It's strange that this question has brought so few... as it appears I'm not the only one with the same question. I'll (we'll) figure it out. I'm told that mechanical pumps (like the electric) don't 'suck' fuel either, thus if they're gravity fed too, how the hell...

HELP - Where to mount fuel pump..?!

Advice & pics if possible: Car: 1972 Duster, 408 Stroker, solid cam, six-pack (450+ hp) Situation: I'm completely replacing/updating my fuel supply setup...ie: trashing stock 5/16" lines, Holley Black pump, dead-head Holley Reg to 5/16" lines to the six-pack. Pump is LOUD, mounted all...

Fuel Pump Polling - Help please
