I Have this harness on the way. My car takes a 4 pin ecu,this harness has a 5 pins. Which pin do I bypass or ignore for my 78 Cordoba...

I did the test like you said. still no fire it turns over great but didn't start. I ran the wires like you said pos battery to pos on the module and pos to the pos coil all at the same time. No change.

This is the diagram I used.

Yes it turns over using the key. I ran a jumper wire to the coil no change,then ran it to the module no change. I have not done both at the same time. My son wired up everything for me and I double checked behind him. The blue and brown wires are connected and ran straight to the dist.

Thanks I ran a jumper wire from it to the coil and the engine started to turn over but still no fire.

78 Cordoba I am doing a HEI Conversion I ran a jumper wire to the coil and the engine starting turning over. I wonder if this box has something to do with having no fire to the coil and distributor?

I am thinking about changing the fuses to 15 amps since they replaced 2 fusible links. But that log has me bugged I have never seen anything like it, and I am curious to know if I get rid of it and put the correct wire in?

Yeah I added them. But look at the picture past the electrical tape and you will see the log that everything is spliced into

Back on topic. I went to O'reillys to recheck things since I don't have the equipment to do so. while there I managed to burn 2 fusible links and a coil to ballast resistor.My son got it re wired temporarily. And Friday I will go through and soldier all the connections and shrink wrap it all...

I don't have a voltage drop. I am running with too high of a voltage instead of 13.5 volts I am putting 15 volts into the battery.

Adam I have a new 114 amp alternator,new voltage regulator. The amp bypass is next starting tomorrow along with a factory tach set up. The GM Alt looks like the next if this bypass doesn't work.
