Hey all. Picked up a decent set of bucket seats out of a 66 Barracuda. I'm planning on using them in my 65 Dart. For 66 the seats went narrower for console fit correct? I'm also missing 1 track off the drivers seat. Any issues other than reinforcing the floor with brackets? (Original bench seat...

Here's mine. Look a lil weird because the front is hard to get a photo of due to corrosion. So I flipped it and inverted the image.

After all this time, I've never really paid attention to the door cards. Do the hardtop panels fit sedan doors? Is anyone making 2 door sedan panels?

Well.....found more holes. That center section is solid except where it meets the fwd lip. Suppose I could just cut out and replace that section? Found some good part numbers on original parts though. Got the steering column out, slant six acc. Pedal hardware and z-bar removed as well.

Now I see where my confusion came from.....the bracket that is circled.....

Got the drivers side off. I did not know the emergency brake support was spot welded to the bottom of the lower cowl. The brace plate for the windshield wiper transmission mount was also spot welded to the lower cowl. The used replacement pieces weren't spot welded in either location...hmmm. I...

I was thinking the same thing. Removing all the under dash heater box and misc. and then installing an aftermarket heater/A/C. Probably still have to have a source of outside air though. Thank you everyone for the input!

Old subject, but still a current issue for me. Has anyone found a supplier for a cowl repair panel for these early A-bodies? I'm almost to the point where I can start planning on replacing all of it, but would like to put new metal in there. Anybody have any luck with taking pieces from a 67-74...

That's quite a build, but that isn't the one. He grafted in subframe connectors, went with a potent 360 and was in the racecar building industry.....shoot, maybe it's been longer than I thought.....like 8-10 Years now. I'll keep looking.....thank you!

Hi all! Years ago there was a thread on here about a 65 Dart build. The gentleman had outstanding pictures and modified the body/running gear/suspension quite a bit. I believe he 4 linked it and put a coil over suspension in the front. Is that thread still around? Thanks in advance..Patch.

Thats the problem...puting it in the parts wanted usually gets me nothing.....and the early A crowd gets more exposure in this forum.....There should be an exception...just sayin....
