Jeff, My last Challenger I built had a 318 Stroker it had 2:94 sure grip and it would fry the tires. Due to all the Torque. Or you could do best of both world's put a 3:91 and order up a 5 or 6 Speed from Silver Sport. It would look cool with a stick coming through the console.

These Leaky Transmission's are hard to determine. How did you know for sure it was coming from the Bell Housing?

You can buy a SG unit and a ring and pinon of your liking. You will have a chunk of change right there. Plus you have to set it up or pay someone. Some people will tell you the 741 case is inferior, but it can withstand plenty. I have a 489 and a 741 case.

You haven't stated, do you have 8 3/4. $350 sounds pricey. Have you been on DR Diffs website

They usually only put the Dana behind 440+6 and Hemi. However there were some 6 pack cars that ended up with 8 3/4. Availability Mess up???

I'm chasing one in mine as well. Like others have said you have to clean it drive it put back in the air. Lots of seals it can be coming from. Speedo, shift seal. Dipstick, pan.

There is a metal bushing that goes around the pump. If that goes bad it can eat up your front pump seal. Maybe this.

Rob, after cleaning it a few times and waiting. Looks like it's just coming out of the gasket. Any recommendations on a good gasket.

Mike, the PO had changed it. I haven't had the car too long. I just double-checked the bolts to make sure they were snug. I did spray and wipe everything down with brake kleen. I just haven't taken it back out again.

I'm looking for some advise. My Challenger has a leak. It leaves a small puddle on the RH side of the car. I got under it was wet on the pan. It does have a fresh filter fluid re-usable gasket. Its hard to tell if it's actually coming from the pan or dipstick tube, pump seal, etc... Is there a...
