    Parts Prices, WTF?!

It's always funny to see a thread about this. I mean, when I'm browsing ads or going through a swap meet if a dude has something for sale that I want that is beyond my opinion of its value I just keep walking. Sometimes I'll make an offer if it's not insanely off what my opinion is but I'm not...

    flip top gas cap/ 65 dart ?

The ones that are just stuck on always look like a pimple. Gotta recess that metal like @MoparMike1974 did to get it to look good.

    I have cool friends!!

Those are schweeet!! I almost stuffed one into a Model A but it ended up being junk. Too bad all the vintage speed equipment is so rare and expensive, too. Nothing like a fully dressed poly!

Applying Rust Killer to under carriage /frame any reason not to ?

I have used a product called "Ospho" to amazing success on my vintage Ford projects. Heavy duty gloves, stainless steel brush pads, eye protect and elbow grease. Knocked all heavy stuff off and used Ospho to get a '32 frame to beautiful bare metal. The say you can paint directly over it but...

    Floor brackets under AC vents?

Its a '74 Dart 2 door SE. They're under the dash on the hump so it seems unlikely they're for a buddy seat.

    Floor brackets under AC vents?

I have these two factory-looking brackets on the Dart located on the hump under the plastic AC manifold. The PO screwed a tach into one of them. What are these for? There's no other brackets or hole for a floor shifter.

Leaky windshield gasket on the Dodge

Someone suggested this: Permatex® Flowable Silicone Windshield & Glass Sealer I might order it up and give it a try, although I'm gonna try the garden hose idea like @Dave 74 Dart suggested first to make sure the cowl or wiper seals aren't leaking. :D

    The dart got painted today!!!!

That looks great and I love that color!!

Leaky windshield gasket on the Dodge

It's an almost rust free California car with no rust in the window channels, a few tiny bubbles appearing in the passenger side lower quarter. We didn't use any sealant with the rubber seal because we've done other windshields that use rubber seals before with no leaks, this one is a first for...

    Go-wing Spoiler on 70s Valiant

It's not my car unfortunately just a picture I saved when I had Valiant coupe. The problem with Mopar guys is some of them can't get over the "NOT FACTORY" mindset. They will dump on you for having a "NOT COOL" '74 Dart or a four door whatever or the wrong scoop or whatever so just ignore 'em...

Leaky windshield gasket on the Dodge

Could be the seals leaking too, but it's also at the front edge of the dash as noted in the original post. Maybe it's that special anti-gravity rain we get sometimes here.

Leaky windshield gasket on the Dodge

First off: It's a new windshield with a new gasket We just got our first rain here in KOMMIEFORNIA and el neuvo Darto had a puddle on the driver's side. I suspect the vindow scheel and not wiper seals because its moist on the top front edge of the dash in addition to the wet floor I vaguely...

Dodge Dart Radiused Rear Wheelwell Picture Thread

So I know the purists hate it unless the car passed through Madison Heights but I'm interested in seeing pictures of radiused rear wheel wells on Dodge Darts, anything of the '67-'76 body style. If you're just gonna post that you don't like it pass this thread over. I'm looking for pictures...

    Found my A-body....

I had been looking for a Duster but my buddy Kyle (who's a member on here I believe) was selling his Dart so I bought it from him. 1974 Dodge Dart SE Swapped the wheels from my old Valiant onto it and the front suspension needs to be rebuilt but parts are already on their way. Upgrading the...

    PAXTON SUPERCHARGER ?

I took it off because I sold the car. Still have it and it's waiting to go onto the next car (1929 Ford roadster) after I get it running, driving and work out all the bugs. I also picked up a Paxton setup for a flathead Ford because these little engines need all the help they can get...

    PAXTON SUPERCHARGER ?

Sorry, by manifold I meant anything on the output side of the blower, under the carb hat, inside the carb, etc. The pressurized side of things. Since the carb vents are under the carb hat the float bowls are subject to the same pressure. As the butterflies open they pull the fuel into the...

    PAXTON SUPERCHARGER ?

On my roadster I simply ran a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator and an auxiliary high pressure electric fuel pump and that kept the fuel pressure above the manifold pressure. It was a dead simple system that saw no more than 8 PSI though. All said and done the simplicity of a...

So had an interesting test drive....

This was my thinking!! I was just on the freeway with this idiot or it could have hit children in the neighborhoods we drove through. It's a '70, it has the little square Valiant badge on the fenders. It could be, I was thinking the orange but never got a look at the fender tag. My thoughts...

So had an interesting test drive....

Sooooo..... I found a promising looking Duster online, slant six auto, seemed like a good start for me. Check the car out, there's some random funkiness about the car and things I see wrong but easy to fix but I'm not there to fix it, that's something I'd do after I own it. We go for a test...

    1967 Plymouth Valiant Signet Coupe

$3500 seems high for these cars, plus the tags are out on this one. I think I'm going to throw it in the classifieds for $3000 as is. It's a driver, come get it out of my hair!! :)

    1967 Plymouth Valiant Signet Coupe

Hey guys, considering selling my 1967 Valiant because once again I collected too much crap (up to five vintage cars!) and this one is currently pretty low on the "build" list. Problem being... I'm not sure what it's worth. I bought it from from FABO member "67Signet" and fixed it up with...
