Dart I've got a set of Doug's headers and I think they're great, the only thing is I had to bash on one tube to clear the steering column. 69 Dart 340 manual steering

I didn't read the whole thread but I love those headers, I have a set. I did have to put one little bonk in the drivers side to give some clearance for the steering cupler...manual steering but that's it. Can't put a pic up because the car isn't here right now.

I'll nnnnnnnnnever take my car to a car show. I don't have the guts for it. I'd park it a few blocks away and walk to it. Like an avoidant personality disorder guy would..I can hardly drive around in the daytime with that thing. NIGHT 1- 4 am is fun time!!! lol

Hi everybody: I'm thinking about doing the exhaust on my car that way. The main question I have is how is it for fumes and smell? Any car done this way with headers and a cam seems to sound awesome.

I think you're right Garry. Back about fifteen years ago it only cost me $200 to get what my friend payed $1800 for. Prices couldn't have gone up that much

Hi everybody: My friend has a 64 GMC pickup with a 292 in it. I found a header for him and the price for just the pipe muffler and install was $1800 and that's not including the price of the header. I can only imagine how much it will be for my car..$3600? I think I'll do the same thing that...

The problem is probably solved then because I just checked and because this car has been sitting for years on these cheap firestones on the front witch will be changed as soon as the 340 goes in I never checked the numbers on them..."180/60" :)

55 but 16 in the head. Still stuck back in the 60-70s. I saw a guy pull out of the Walmart here in Kelowna in a 70 Challenger. The whole thing was just shaking. He must have been 70 but he would have looked stupid sitting in a Honda :)

Hi guys. I wanted to ask this...my power steering box on my 69 dart looks like it may take up too much room for a set of headers. I havnt seen any darts with power steering and headers come to think of it. Have you guys? Will I have to get arm strong steering? Thanks.
