    Fuel issues

    Are you running a vented cap first comes to mind, tank will have a vacuum after you shut it off and draw it back into the tank, also advise you get rid of the glass fiter as I have seen several car fires due to glass tube breaking...!

    Performance loss from headers to HP manifolds

    I think you`ll notice your low end torgue will improve, the upper mid range, and top end rpm will suffer, if your not racing you`ll probably not notice, I have fixed my kids twice now, by drilling a hole and using a dent puller, and plug weld the hole and by cutting and replacing sections...

    But you can effectively bleed off compression ( DCR ) by advancing cam 2 to 4 degrees via cam buttons if you are to high in Dynamic Compression Ratio.....!

    A Demon seed said its old school; but it works, also when you drop your oil filter, take the time to cut it open with a pair of sheet metal shears, not a hacksaw and see whats in the filter, use a strong magnet if nessesary, it will show everything....!

    thoughts on my build

    Mopar marc will have to do the math to get his desired comp ratio, but if it turns up to high he can always advance the cam 2/4 degress to drop the DCR, it will not affect cam performance, cam timming will come in sooner.

    Lifter Tick

    Determine which side its on, pull the valve cover, use a wooden handle and lean on the susected lifter via the rocker, I`ll bet it will pump up and quit ticking....! old school but works...! :thumbup: ps do this while its running.

    So I`m wondering if its wiser to go with a set of alum heads....? Cut the weight and help out the perf issue, Whats the latest or current trend with the alum, vs any early HP mopar head. I know X-heads are out, it would cost to much for a set...!
