    I use a hyd load cell tester for clutch pressure plate springs for a over 40 years.It was originally for valve springs,it would be a pain for 16 springs but it would work.I've seen them for $100 at summit and jegs.

    It's too big for a stud remover. This is my stud remover it's 2 1/2 inches tall, the tool I first posted pictures of is over 6 in tall and more than twice a big around.

    I think your pretty close. I think it's for Model A or T head bolts or aircraft head bolts.The offset has me thrown for a loop.

    It's a bit over 6" long,the offset has me stumped.I think I know what it is.The length of the tool makes it hard to use in any type of close space.

    leechris81 got the timing belt tensioner, it's for the Chevy Vega 4 cyl only.An old flat rate mechanic gave it to me along with how he could change a timing belt on a Vega in less than 30 min start to finish.It was taking me 2-3 hours then after that little bit of info it was around 30 min...

    Good guess guys but the red tool is a tool,a brake tool and the other one is a chev Vega tool that only works on Vega's...I'll explain in detail later.I thought some really old guys would have used the red tool for sure.

    I still have my first boxes from 1975 and my Dads from 1959 and 1960.I still use my boxes from 1990,everything works just like the day I bought them and my Son will use them when I'm long gone.

    Shipping cylinder heads

    When I shipped heads I used spray foam to keep them safe.Heads in a bag a couple of foam blocks to support the heads off the bottom and fill up the box with spray foam...Never had any problems.You could hit the cardboard box with a hammer and nothing happens.

    I had the box for about 20 years and I do not remember a part number that was that long.There was a 2 letter prefix and 3 digit part number, something like MT ---...Heck I just don't remember it was a while ago.Could have been the CTN10001... kursplat...Thank you:thankyou:
