No,that looks 71-up B or E body. It looks like a std heater box but has a vacume pod and a bracket that bolts the 2 boxes together. This is the complete under dash set up.

Yeah,that is a 67-72 box. It is missing the heater side that has the heater core (seperate box) though. It's not complete.

I always use RTV on any bolt that goes into a water jacket/port and never have a leak.

They should line up fine. What year is your current shroud?

/6 is off set to the right and v8 is offset to the left or vice versa. The engines are offset in the engine bay because our steering is on the inside of the DS frame rail.

lol,yeah. It corrects the offset and no adjustment to the radiator. I think the 67-72 is pretty close to each other. Will he let you compare it before you purchase?

flip the /6 one upside down for v8's

or just get non a/c pullies and possibly the alt bracket

Can you post a pic of your firewall and valve? It should look like the pic I posted. That is the 67-71/72 a/c

There should be 3 coming out of the firewall, One goes to the intake nipple to provide vacume and the other 2 go to the diapram on the water valve.

I ran that fan ^ on my car before with the proper spacer and it really sucked some air at all times but also robs quite a bit of HP. I ended up swapping to an 18" clutch fan with shroud and narrow clutch on my repop stock style 3 core 70-2 radiator.

I get $25 for the old brass/copper ones at the scrap yard.

I used a 70-up engine and used a 70-2 A body radiator with a 70-2 shroud. I have never used the 60's shroud on a 70's radiator so I can't answer that.

If your BB only goes to half way your doing pretty good. My 94 van runs at 3/4 and my SB valiant runs just over 1/2 with a clutch fan.

I used a fan from an F body (17.5 if I remember right) and installed the shorter clutch that Hayden makes.

What year car? It sounds like it was an a/c car if it has a vacume switch. If you reach inside the heater box through the door and reach left,that is the the door that allows air flow direction to the heater core. If the factory fan switch doesn't work you may need a new one or the resistor on...

I had the same issue with a motor once. I took the thermostat out and filled it with water and ran it at high and low rpm's then pulled the lower hose to drain it quick. It took 5 times or so to do mine before it stayed clear then I added straight antifreeze to mix with the water that was left...

I'm pretty sure it's BB A body and is an NOS Goodyear 60665 upper radiator hose. It came with a package deal of stuff I bought. Thanks in advance

What year is the engine? The A/C compressor on most 67-up has the alt brackets built in and may cause a location issue if you don't use the factory bracket. pic #1 and #3 is 67-9 and pic #2 is 70-up.
