Guys any help with this would be appreciated, with the AC it looks like a dogs breakfast in there. Does the whole box have to come out? any step by step (without shooting yourself in the head half way through)?
Ugh was just there last week. Have a drink before you start LOLYes, the whole box has to come out.
Obviously you have to take any under hood hoses off first.
Then unbolt the blower motor under the hood.
Take the J hook off the inside of the passenger side vent box door if it has one.
Start lowering the box down while disconnecting control cables and electrical connections.
Remove the clips that hold the two halves together.
From there it's pretty obvious what to do.
("Dogs breakfast" before or after he ate it?)
I am assuming you meant after.

Thanks for the pics, so can you remove the heater box without removing the AC portion? The a/c box is seperate from the heater box and is held together with a bolt. The box bolts to the firewall from outside
