    I need a trunk mat !

I can't imagine why they would be different. I too am/was looking for a Valiant trunk mat, thank you 6pk2goDemon for posting that P/N. I'll have to check to make sure that is a rubber mat, I bought one of the vinyl reproductions once for my Coronet and all it did was slide around the trunk.

    seat belts?

there is also a company making seats for street rods that have shoulder belts made into the seats. I can't remember the company name, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. Edit: I think it was these guys, but it could've been someone else. http://www.wiseguys-seats.com/

    Brake Light Activator Sticking

Ugh, sorry you didn't catch it sooner before your lenses were toast. I just went thru this a few weeks back myself, had someone yell something that sounded like "Fix your f***in' brake lights!" while I was riding around. Pulled over and sure enough, the lights were stuck on. Turns out my...

    65-66 Early-A,s popping out everywhere!!

No joke. I got into mopars when everything but e-bodys were "grandma cars" and even then people would take a Camaro over a Challenger. I'd rather go back to the days of being made fun of for being into mopars than the way it is now. The A's, especially the early A's were safe for a while, but...

    Bucket Seats (yes Again)

I wouldn't say that, at worse if you don't find anything, you were already making brackes anyhow right? Just make some SS style risers that are roughly the same height as the factory early-a ones.

    Bucket Seats (yes Again)

Sounds like you need the factory early-a bucket seat risers to use as a template. There is no bench only floor, but you're right about the floor being higher beside the trans tunnel. The bucket seat risers can be unbolted from the seat, I have my passenger seat out at the moment and am...

    Early A Ragtop thread

Arg, not sure on that one. Someone else will have to chime in... My Valiant has a power top, I converted the Dart I had from a power to manual top but it's been 8 years, I don't exactly remember how it was held down. I want to say that the way the spring was positioned with the top down...

Do you mean at the header, top of the windsheild, that keeps the top closed? Or what holds the top down in the well when it's...down?

    Early A Ragtop thread

Bump for a random pic I found on the web, and more top down pics from you guys (I hope) I guess this is pretty much what mine looked like new: Reminds me of Miss Hathaway from The Beverly Hillbillies for some reason....

Video of cruise home in valiant

Forgot that one there had a stripe..... I'd like to make Mopar Madness but the Winged Warriors/B-Body owners Assn. meet is the same weekend and only 45 minutes away. Oh well, next year, not sure if the Valiant would make the trip this year anyhow...

Very nice '66 A383Wing! Love the color combo. I'm 90-95% done with the floor pan work my '63 Vert. Still a few little more things to do on them, but now I can't stand thru my car! Took it for a drive yesterday afternoon with the top down, pretty great.

    Early A Ragtop thread

Bumping this because it's finally convertible weather!!! I want early A top down pics you guys!! I got mine out and drove it around Friday and Saturday a bit, kept the top up since I'm still working on my floor pan patches and have no interior....but it was fun anyway.

    Early A-body Rear Seat Belts

Thanks for that link hkeller, I'm sure it'll help out the OP tons and others too. All but one of the early A's I've ever had lacked seatbelts. The Valiant is the perfect drive in couples cruiser, I've got to install some before summer, that article will be loads of help. To the OP, you can...

    Early A Ragtop thread

Thanks, they're 235/60/14's grimreaper- very shape '64 you have there. What color is on it? Reminds me a lot of the factory ruby red and the newer mopar inferno red pearl.

    Early A Ragtop thread

The Valiant made it here finally, after a good wash and some Purple Power yesterday to remove the mold and mildew from a few years of sitting under pine trees, I managed to snap a pic before it got dark. More to come as I get things back in order.

I have no idea either really, but it between that and the massive cam, they'll make up for it being slow ;) I'll be glad to get started on cleaning everything, the car has been sitting for the most part last 2-3 years.
