there is a rubber bushing that snaps into place-- some have used fuel line to get by until the correct piece is obtained. -- fmmpr on ebay used to sell them & maybe gary goers has them. The rod will snap into the bushing-- very tight fit.Lawrence

Clean the threads on the "J' bolt part of the fuel strap, on the passenger side. Clean the area around the filer tube --the best you can. I found out by luck the tank drops much quicker if you do not empty all the fuel.(something about weight & gravity). It should have a ground strap next to...
