Looking for someone to paint my 74 Duster in Nebraska

I should have added that my brother, Allen Kelly who owns a Venom Builds did the body work and it is as perfect as perfect gets. I know, everyone has their own opinion, but it was absolutely done right!

Looking for someone to paint my 74 Duster in Nebraska

Does anyone know of a person in Nebraska or even western Iowa that would paint my 74 Duster? The body work is finished, I just need someone to do their final touch and then get the paint on. It's harder to find someone that will do this than you might think, and I want it done right. Thanks for...

Does anyone know if these additional parts are available aftermarket or could it turn into an endless search for a bunch of parts unless I find a donor clip/car?

    Dean Martin Roasts

I used to watch these with my dad all the time. They were the best!. I miss all of those guys. Do some of you guys remember Red Skelton? He was so darn funny! I am a trumpet player by trade and so played a few of his shows back in the early 90's. He was older then but man, he was a riot!!!

Hey, to you guys that have gone, what all goes on out there at Carlisle? I mean, do they have apple pie eating contests or is someone out there judging Aunt Bee's store-bought pickles or...?? Maybe free Mopar (Penstar) monogramed Ipods the first 500 cars..?? I just want to know what is out...

    V6 Fi Vs 318

Hey Grinder, Its good that someone finally said what I have sort of been thinking. In retrospect, I am disappointed that I didn't go the Super6 rout. The person at Clifford (of course) told me that his set-up was going to be better for what I wanted (economy and some power when I need it)...

New sending unit and fuel gauge is off

I just tried this and Summit only lists one sending unit for my car. (74 Plymouth Duster 225). I don't see where they list the ohm readings. Thanks, Tom

New sending unit and fuel gauge is off

I had my mechanic install (the second) fuel tank sending unit and my gas gauge works as such: Reads full for about 30 miles and then drops rapitly to 1/4 tank after about 70 miles of highway driving. When I fill at the 1/4 tank reading, the car still has 12 gallons of gas. Has anyone ever...

    V6 Fi Vs 318

Yes, I know, it doesn't make any sense! I'm pretty sure the car has 2:76's. I had a 74 duster, (318) as a kid and without working too hard, I could get 25 mpg! Is there anyone out there that can give me a place to start as far as getting to the bottom of this problem or should I just give up...

How are you getting 25 mpg on your slant six? I can't get anywhere close to that. What are you using for a carb? Tom

    V6 Fi Vs 318

I have a 74 duster 225 slant six. I put on headers and a 4brl intake and 390 cfm carb. I can only achieve 17 mpg at best driving the car 55 on a flat road. Would I be better off, money wise and mileage wise, trading up to a 318 or turning my slant six into fuel injection? Thanks!!!Tom
