I have a 1969 GTS 340 4 speed car. Does the clutch rod going thru the firewall go bent end to Z bar or bent end to pedals? Thanks in advance.

It all depends on your rear tire size. Taller tires reduce actual gear ratio mathematically, I believe gear ratios are figured with 26" tall tires. 3:91's will not be friendly on a long highway run. Around town they are a fun gear.

Finishing my GTS 340 4 speed from restoration, I had the transmission rebuilt by what I believe to be a reputable and knowledgeable guy, the shifter was rebuilt by another what I believe to be a knowledgeable guy. Here's my issue, Drive it down the road and it shifts like crap, doesn't want to...

Just the pumpkin? $400 to $800 depending what it needs. I had mine rebuilt in Maine, $700 new bearings, yoke, rebuilt SG and ring and pinion gears.

gregpurcell, I assume you mean if I grind the weld off the 360 converter and install it on my 340? You believe if I doi that I may have to use the 360 Flex plate?

I'm sorry, I have the engine adapter mounts, i forgot to say it is the transmission crossmember I was questioning?

I have a 1971 Dart Swinger with a /6 and I am putting a 1970 340/727 in it soon. Are the cross members the same? Maybe just the mounts are different or do I have to buy a new mount from Brewers or Mancini? And I thought I knew so much about Mopars! Ha, learn something new every minute! Thanks
