    Torque Strap install

Here is a pic of the Schumacher torque strap kit on my '68 Dart 383, but a '74 K-member. I welded and bolted it. The bolts also attached the Firm Feel sway bar bracket which give it additional strength.

Newer 2 bolt aluminum master cylinder for BB A-body

Please tell me why the offset is desired. I used the Dr Diff alu master cylinder in my 1968 Dart 383 with 440Source valve covers & TTI 2" headers.

    383 Accusump port

Can anyone recommend an oil port on my '68 383 block to install the hose from my Accusump? They recommend 1/2" or 3/8" NPT. I was planning to use one of the oil sensor ports on the top back but I'm not sure it meets their spec. I'd prefer not to use the oil filter adapter and the engine is...

    Electric Water Pump

I ran one on my 440 for years. I made a circuit that switched the pump and fan from the starter relay to a thermostat relay when the car was turned off. This cooled the heads and block down nicely.

    383 Build Almost Done

I've been trying not to add it up. But an honest answer is about $13,500 including the carb, dist, and headers. There's no getting around the cost of quality machining and assembly, high flow aluminum heads (and required offset rockers for $1,000) and all of the quality parts needed for a...

    383 Build Almost Done

MRL, thanks for the kind words. Your 470 looks pretty mean. My goal was to make the 600 hp range. I'll have the numbers in a few weeks when we dyno it.
